I would surmise that it was a dead fly, and not a raisin. Raisins have a chewy texture, are not as juicy as a fresh fly, nor as crunchy as an old dead one. Perhaps try a Sunmaid brand raisin, or fish some of the sugar coated ones out of a box of cereal. Also, raisins don't have wings.

Raisins always make me think of flies as well, then the thought of accidentally eating a fly makes me sick. Difficult to tell the difference when it's in oats, apple pie or whatever. And then try buying stuff without raisins, almost impossible to find.
