smoking is ok because...i like smoking smoking is ok because...my (loved ones names here smokes) its a hard habit to kick if i do it, its christian 1st corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Jesus did not create us so that he could watch us do our best chimney and car exhaust impersonations!

lol I feel bad for laughing at that ,,,,lol seriously, we should take car of our bodies the best we know how,, I doubt many would disagree with that, christian or not whether its 'wrong' or 'right' is a much deeper judgment, that it is 'unhealthy' is pretty indisputable though,,

It gains nothing positive, you don't even get a buzz out of smoking cigs. All it does is bring destruction to God's temple. In the long run, it's almost just committing suicide.

Yet take what the bible says like do not eat pork and say well its ok. How do we defile the Temple from the Scriptures? We judge when we add to the bible. I am not saying smoking is good. What I am saying is we pick and choose. We choose what man says over what Yahweh says. Pork is not to be eaten. Yahweh says it defiles the Temple yet man says he made a mistake. We judge ourselves by adding to scripture.

And besides, those are old testament verses. Those do not apply to Christians. Keep in mind, the only laws that apply to "Christians" are from the new testament. For before the new testament, there was no "Christians" for there was no "Christ".

For before the new testament, there was no "Christians" for there was no "Christ". I agree Yahshua is our EXAMPLE. He had the New Testament before he was born. He only quoted and lived the New Testament. He ate Pork ect ecT. All the Disciples and Apostles we are given examples from Celebrated Christmas. and Had a Ham sandwich for Easter. They Gave Yahshua A Pig for his B day every year. He loved it he said I am doing My Fathers will. " See I eat The PIG" I am so glad you follow your example. Have a good day

Are Christians going to be judged according to what they eat or drink or smoke? I don't think so. If that were the case, then all of those overweight preachers would be in big trouble.

Same could be said about who they do and don't sleep with... Or else the preacher in my Baptist Church growing up is going to be in big trouble for having an affair with one of the deacons wife..

Same could be said about who they do and don't sleep with... Or else the preacher in my Baptist Church growing up is going to be in big trouble for having an affair with one of the deacons wife.. Yes, sexual sin is something that Christians will have to give an account for.
