Ow, how sweet! Over here I only got 5 mins left of my birthday, about to celebrate my "unbirthday", haha. If I could quickly go to the US I could enjoy it for another 8 hours or so, lol.
Thank you everyone, I had an absolutely wonderful day, one of the best birthdays I've had in years, just on my own. Went clothes shopping (had vouchers, got 3 bags of clothes, hihi), treated myself to some nice little thingies and a cappuccino and cake. Thoroughly enjoyed the day!
Burnt a cake in the oven tonight, I was about to take that to work tomorrow. That was a bit of a bummer, till I cut of the black crust to find that underneath is perfectly good cake that tastes absolutely great. I had my kitchen full up with smoke twice though, haha, had to open the frontdoor (at 11 PM lol) as I have no window in my kitchen. Guess my oven's temp is higher than average. It's new, so I didn't know 
All in all I can say: Dang, can you have a lot of fun and feel totally happy, even when you're on your own, as long as you feel happy within! Thank you! Really sweet of you all!
@ Jemare, you got that one right, the painting! That's a THomas Kinkade, I used some of his work for inspiration, haha. His work is stunning, the way he can catch light, unreal! So you were spot on!! I'm impressed and feel honoured as well :D |

The way that I feel about being on my own on birthdays and Christmases is that time passes more slowly and it delays that feeling of being another year older and another year gone.
