im not sure they are afraid I think it takes really a right person and the right timing for them as well. Perhaps along with losing some they never realized they really cared about.

Guys who are afraid of commitment aren't men..... Men/Women that are afraid of commitment are not ready to move on. Instead they need to learn to live alone and learn to put the past behind them and move on.... If a man is always looking for another more beautiful as in the OP statement he/she is nothing but a player and deserves to be left behind... Either love the one your with or move on....

Instead they need to learn to live alone and learn to put the past behind them and move on.... If a man is always looking for another more beautiful as in the OP statement he/she is nothing but a player and deserves to be left behind... Either love the one your with or move on.... I agree and sometimes they think they really are. i also agree with the second statement!!

Some people are actually happy being alone or single. This site is called Mingle. Some seem to think it's ' Get Married Now'!!!! Each to their own.

Those same reasons could also be applied to a woman. Just a few edits here and there. The only problem I see is if someone is hanging onto the past, or the what could be, then they really never started a relationship fresh. Which I think should be a no brainer. You can't hold an entire gender responsible for the actions of one bad apple. The bad apples are many,not one

this is news? A lot of women are afraid of commitment - I think usually because of past hurts, or being taken advantage of in the past. In fact men remarry at a much higher rate than women do. you guys'll have to clean your own kitchens...lol there is very little in the OP that I agree with outright At least you agreed

Single ladies,here are the reasons why some men aint ready to commit.(1)FEAR OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY:Men know that when they commit,they must be ready to take on responsibility such as bringing money home to take care of the family's needs,maintaining & protecting the family.It will interest you to know that some men just dont like to think about the kinds of responsibility that come with getting married to a woman and having children.(2)PAST HURTFUL EXPERIENCES:Some men will like to commit to women,but they find it difficult because they have either been dumped or cheated on by someone they really loved.(3)FEAR OF MISSING OUT ON THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN:Somen men will not commit because they dont want to miss out on the most beautiful woman that is yet to show up.You may be a nice person & beautiful in your own way,but something still tells him that there is someone out there who is more beautiful,nicer & sexier than you.(4)HIGH RATE OF DIVORCE:You all know how women like single motherhood these days. Seems to me that women avoid commitment for the same reasons, that or he doesn't make enough to provide the lifestyle she wants...
