Nothing unusual. US has been taking all Golds in most sport event for many years.
US sports persons got talent, hard work, motivation. :)

Aint it boring seeing the same again every year ? please comment.

However, there are v few events where close fight happens for Gold. Those are interesting to watch.

Oh...Canada and Norway were right on his heels. The media considers his win an upset. The Olympics only occurs eery 4 years...why the excitement. Many other countries also win Gold medals as there are many events.

The good will between participants of many nations should be also valued

Here in the UK everyone (Well the Media) got excited because we won our first ever winter olympics medal on the snow. A bronze in the snowboard slopestyle. Wonder whose idea it was to snowboard and ski down rails then do sommersaults. very impressive but Mad??

You forgot about the banned substances that US sports stars take as well! Although I admit other countries do the same that includes the UK

I have to say I'm disappointed that Evgeni Pleschenko couldn't compete in the Men's Figure Skating for Russia. Sucks when the gold medal favorite goes down before competition.

Maybe he might have failed the dope test afterwards? Just a thought.

Yes you are right, and a Brit woman is in pole position after two rounds to win gold!

Cheers for that although the BBC went over the top as usual.I admire her courage and all that but it is a bit elitist as in middle class. The medals table the BBC showed last night had the USA in fourth with 7 gold medals . It's the golds that count. Germany were on top with 11!

The Americans win two more medals in Sochi, their current total is 16. The leader in total medals, though I suspect that won't last.

The USA and Russia tied for the overall lead with 19 medals. Germany has the most gold medals with 8.

Very tight race in the Medals Standings.
