I don't suppose it does matter, and personally I don't care who won the winter olympics and as for dignity well we won't go there!! In our country winter olympics sports are a minority sport and eletist. Bring on the world cup!!!

The Medals race is very close. The Dutch has 19 medals in speedskating and 22 overall. Norway has the most Gold Medals. The US and Russia tied for most overall. I watched Russia lose to Finland in Hockey. I remembered reading somewhere where Russia's idea of a successful Olympics was winning Gold in Men's Hockey. They better change their mission statement. It's the gold's that count. Britain have a chance of winning gold in the women's curling.Personally I don't care two hoots but each to their own. Sooner watch a good footie (Soccer) match any day, or rugby, or cricket or golf even darts!!Now there's a sport!! The world cup is coming! Rather watch the Cup. Who do you think takes it. Brazil on home soil is going to be tough to beat but not impossible.  this is for the olympics, thank you

yes the only country in th world to schedule winter games in the warmest part of their country with melting runs....only thing worse is the dang fool committee who let them host...lol Here we go, wondered when the sour grapes would start. I agree that the judging in the ice skating was dodgy at best and everyone seemed to be complaining about the melting ice but it's done now. Money talks as we all know. The money Russia spent and the opulence of it all was ridiculous, it was all about propaganda and who is the mightiest world power. The sport element was secondary. Time to move on!! |
