Nothing unusual. US has been taking all Golds in most sport event for many years.
US sports persons got talent, hard work, motivation. :)

Aint it boring seeing the same again every year ? please comment.

However, there are v few events where close fight happens for Gold. Those are interesting to watch.

You forgot about the banned substances that US sports stars take as well! Although I admit other countries do the same that includes the UK

so,why singling out the USofA?

The only event where a broom is a key piece of equipment.

It amazes me how many baseball fans in this country hate soccer; when soccer is far more exciting than Baseball.

The Dutch are amazing at speedskating.

That country now has 20 medals leading the medal race.

The USA and Russia tied for the overall lead with 19 medals. Germany has the most gold medals with 8.

Very tight race in the Medals Standings.

USA and the Netherlands now tied with the most medals with 20.

USA picks up a gold and a bronze today.

Football or soccer as you call it,is probably I would argue the most popular sport in the world. As Bill Shankly (a past Liverpool manager) once said "Football isn't a matter of life or death, it is more important than that"!!

The Medals race is very close. The Dutch has 19 medals in speedskating and 22 overall. Norway has the most Gold Medals. The US and Russia tied for most overall.

I watched Russia lose to Finland in Hockey. I remembered reading somewhere where Russia's idea of a successful Olympics was winning Gold in Men's Hockey. They better change their mission statement.

It's the gold's that count. Britain have a chance of winning gold in the women's curling.Personally I don't care two hoots but each to their own. Sooner watch a good footie (Soccer) match any day, or rugby, or cricket or golf even darts!!Now there's a sport!!

The world cup is coming! Rather watch the Cup. Who do you think takes it. Brazil on home soil is going to be tough to beat but not impossible.

My mistake the women won bronze this morning, the men are in the final this afternoon. As for the world cup, I am sure there will be plenty of forums on here soon. To answer your question I think it will definitely be a South American team. Seeing that Messi is probably the greatest footballer ever I’ll probably have a few quid on Argentina. I am English but I am a realist, to put it simply we have no chance!!

Don't know much about ice skating but I reckon there was definitely something dodgy about the judging for the ladies final last night. The Korean lady looked a class above the others. That's the trouble with judges, they are open to persuasion if you get my drift. Humans eh! Can't trust em!

As bad as figure skating is, olympic boxing is even worse.

Yes I totally agree, I remember an olympics quite a while back ( although I can't remember which one), a boxer sat in the ring for hours after his fight in disbelief that the judges had scored the fight to the other bloke. He ended up sat in the dark cos they turned all the lights off. Some things never change!!
