But according to these demographics there is more single black women raising kids alone.

This is probably because black men find it harder to get jobs and the women prefer being alone so they don't have to feed and support him too. --- Also, if a woman is not married, and she has children, they can easily get on assistance.

Its not an assumption that they "abandon their kids," maybe the woman just refused to marry them, or kicked them out.

The records don't show who all the woman has been having sex with but implying that there could be a large number of interacial sex between black women and white men that would account for so many black women raising kids on their own is a huge stretch, and very unlikely.

there may be many reasons a woman ends up a single mom, but knowing only that she is a single mom is not enough information to know anything about the father other than that he isn't there

I will probably get a LOT of flack for saying this, but I think that
the black race in general is the superior race, physically and mentally. They have been denied education, particularly when they were slaves, for the simple reason, the white slave owners knew this.

I also think that in general, women (black or white) are smarter than men.

This means that black women, who are the most suppressed and discriminated against people in this country, are also the strongest and smartest.

and mixed children are becoming more and more of the population

though its true that people tend to MARRY more often their own race, people now will actually SLEEP With just about anyone

so children can be born from any type of racial combination,, meaning that single mothers can have deadbeat fathers of all races,,,,regardless of their own race

if it is true that 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger',, I Can agree that within the context of American history, blacks would have to be some of the strongest

Perhaps, but I think they were the first root race to have a foothold on the earth --(rather than the Adam and Eve idea)-- and that they lived mostly in one of the wildest countries in the world. (Africa).

I don't think they became strong because of slavery, I think the American Blacks are strong because the slave traders picked out the best and strongest for their slave trade. Heredity did the rest.

Mind you, some of the slaves were taken and sold by other blacks out of Africa who were slave traders themselves.

Yeah, but I hope that it wasn't a case of a Christian becoming unequally yoked with a non-Christian. That sort of thing can cause disaster for the Christian.

I did not say it never happens, (and there are dead beats in all races.) I say it is a "stretch" to assume that those numbers can be attributed to black women who had relationships with white men. It is usually the other way around. White women going with black men. That can also mess up the white-black thing. I know a black man who has 17 children by five different women, some black, some white and he does not pay support for any of them. (He needs to keep it in his pants.)

Also, the numbers don't have to mean that black men abandon their babies more, it could mean that black women are strong enough to not stay married to irresponsible jerks regardless of their race, and white women stay in bad relationships because they are not strong enough to raise kids on their own.

I didn't say anything funny at all, so your laughter is purposely mocking because you don't agree that women are generally smarter than men.

Men have been suppressing women and down grading them for centuries because they are afraid that women are smarter than they are. Women have had to fight for their rights and their right to vote, and even their right to open a bank account and have a credit rating without being married to a man.

They have had to fight for better wages for the same job etc.

Why? Because men are afraid of women. Why? Because women are smarter than men.

Some men think that if they have a lot of money they can get a woman, but if the women have more money than they have, men would have to rely on their charm, good looks and character to get women. Men don't want women to be richer, more successful and smarter than they are. This has always been the case in general.

We are not born with an ego. In fact, we are born as an empty vessel of human potential. As we grow, we construct the ego in order to separate "self" (the "I") from "other" (the rest of the universe). Unfortunately, we tend to selfishly flatter our egos and tend to think of ourselves not as a unique part of the universe, but as "more special" than anyone else.

This causes us to identify more with our egotistical and selfish (taking) "self" more than the humble and unselfish (giving) identification with others, which IS a part of us on a sort of sliding scale based on who is most similar (immediate family) to most different (people who don't feel as you do.)

Obviously if we want to evolve to be a compassionate and cooperative species that doesn't spend its time robbing and killing others of its own kind, we have to expand what we call "Love" (the wise and loving "God Within") to encompass all humanity.

We can accomplish that by coming to love our enemies and by doing "the right thing."

These seemingly impossible goals can be achieved with a simple change in our own perspective, wherein we identify less with the "self" and more with the "other."

We call this state nirvana, or "enlightenment", or "extinction" (of selfish ego), or the seemingly trite state of "Oneness with the universe", which when you think about it, is exactly the state that we are born in.
