Topic: Another date not working out | |
---|---|
He missed out. He showed up, he might have had a chance to be into you. Exactly. Nee bother. He missed the chance to meet you. If he ever regrets it, then, too late, mate. He had his chance. Tell him to do one. There's still thousands more in the world to pick from ;) |

Thing is, dating doesn`t really work. You will have to be ready for a relationship, I mean really ready, to begin with - then you can meet someone. But there is no point in just "dating" someone to see if you match, it`s just stupid. Dating and relationship are two different things, the latter is when you are ready to create something real, dating is when you aren`t ready but just playing the field. She's a woman that doesn't even know what she wants. Most of them that I've met in my years of dating are like that. You can't jump straight into a relationship but if you are genuinely ready for one and actually want one you can give it a go with someone that you hit it off with. It's better than this BS where people say that they are looking for marriage and expect proposals over the internet, or these idiots that make up their minds before even meeting you. Yeah, they are a bit. I don't like to boast about it too much though. I'm knocking back ex girlfriends and I just spent the Summer dating a girl half my age. Other women flirt with me at parties and stuff. Sure, I can get my end away if I want to but like it says on my profile, I'm looking for a relationship. |

I'm glad I had decided to not go to that pub unless he confirmed. Still is a shame, could've done with a nice evening out. And if I'd been on a date, I would have missed that $&(#($*_($+_@@+# spider that just crawled into the room. Okay, then it would've been waiting for me when I got home, but still. I rather deal with a male human creep than a spider this big It does suck to get stood up. It's happened to me a couple times. There's nothing wrong with going out on your own if that happens, though! You never know who you may meet. |

You are too picky and go for the wrong type. I told you that I would be prepared to date you but all that you could say was that it doesn't feel right. Your loss honey. Good luck with your search and if you ever feel like meeting a real man look me up. |

Tempted to NO U and call you a wanker back for that but no point in stating the bleeding obvious. Yeah, I'm not a fatarse, that's true enough. I think I'm built more like Iggy Pop. I keep myself fit though. Haven't been to the yoga classes for a while but I still stand on my head as a party trick. |

Good luck with your search and if you ever feel like meeting a real man look me up. Right, thanks for the advice. Not sure what it's got to do with you though. Crystal, if I was rude to you I'm sorry. You can call off your psychophantic minions now. |

Some of them go for it and some find it a bit much. I know this girl called Kat and she was taking photos of me at a party recently, so I spammed this onto her Facebook page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5V203T95P0 |

Holy moley, I'm gone for the one day and all he|| breaks lose, lol
Thank you everyone for your sweet words and support (the ones that did, that is, lol) I got his reason for not replying etc. I had sent him an email, asking what had happened. I was just curious what excuse he would come up with, or maybe not reply at all. Curiosity killed the cat, I know, but I'm not emotionally involved at all and just couldn't help myself. H said he didn't feel well Friday and Saturday afternoon he got a fever. He hoped I hadn't been waiting in the pub/restaurant. @ Rawrr Girl, yes we did conversate :) Not on a daily basis, but regularly. @ Tawt 1, yes you were rude and like sybariticguy said, I was honest but still polite, so I didn't make you look like an @ss. So would appreciate a similar consideration in your replies. Apology accepted @ Tawt 2: they are not my minions. If ppl react that way, it's on you and only you. Food for thought maybe. @ sybariticguy I take it you mean well and you often come up with good stuff. I am, however, 47 not a child. I'm quite capable of making decisions incl. going out of my comfort zone, or not. @ Larss, well, you know, you're sweet |
