Topic: Another date not working out | |

He missed out.
He showed up, he might have had a chance to be into you. |

Sorry that your date didn't work out. I don't know why people do things like this. Getting stood up sucks. CF, I doubt you are ready for the convent. Its his loss and not yours. Just think; you may have just dodged a bullet with this character. I would just spend the night with some friends and forget this wanker. Ditto this. And, you are looking really good NavyGirl! |

There must have been a misalignment of the planets because the same thing happened to me this Friday. He messaged me at 10pm saying that he's stuck in a town that's about two hours away from where I live and that he's feeling alone and horny. No apology or anything.
CF atleast you can just block this joker, I have to deal with him in real life. |

Had a date with this really nice man earlier this year. All the perimeters were right: he was tall, a musician, writer, intelligent, similar interests, good-looking etc. But I didn't feel a buzzzzz at all And he started talking about "When we move in together ... " On the first date, mummy!! Technically speaking it could've been great. But I didn't feel attracted to him. Always the same. I gotta get this Law of Attraction sussed, haha. I must be doing something wrong. |

You are too picky and go for the wrong type. I told you that I would be prepared to date you but all that you could say was that it doesn't feel right. Your loss honey. Good luck with your search and if you ever feel like meeting a real man look me up.

Being left hanging sucks. However next time I'd suggesting going out anyway. You never know you could run into someone who may just blow your mind.

Thing is, dating doesn`t really work. You will have to be ready for a relationship, I mean really ready, to begin with - then you can meet someone. But there is no point in just "dating" someone to see if you match, it`s just stupid. Dating and relationship are two different things, the latter is when you are ready to create something real, dating is when you aren`t ready but just playing the field.

She's a woman that doesn't even know what she wants. Most of them that I've met in my years of dating are like that. You can't jump straight into a relationship but if you are genuinely ready for one and actually want one you can give it a go with someone that you hit it off with. It's better than this BS where people say that they are looking for marriage and expect proposals over the internet, or these idiots that make up their minds before even meeting you. |

I don't totally agree with you. Dating can lead to a relationship. You can indeed date when you're not ready for a relationship but you can also date when you are, but simply haven't met the right one yet. Playing the field doesn't mean you're not ready. You can also enjoy dating, meeting ppl, having a good time. You are too picky and go for the wrong type. I told you that I would be prepared to date you but all that you could say was that it doesn't feel right. Your loss honey. I guess I'm just not ready for a real man. Be patient, one never knows. |

You are inexperienced only four guys and you are frustrated... If you are smart you would assume some responsibility and have his number so you could confirm if you did not hear from him as you give the other person control! If you let them confirm and not do the same. I would suggest you forget age as its not a valid criteria for dating evaluation and spend more time conversing with a guy to better know him and reduce the liklihood of being stood up, I support your efforts but four guys is insufficient. I met 63 women before finding a compatible match and that one lasted a year...Granted my standards are high but the rewards justify the traffic and subsequent great match... |

Did you both conversate enough, first? Just wondering
