Well I'm 6'4" and I can honestly say the only time tall people really have an advantage is in the grocery store when a little old lady needs something from the top shelf, then we're a hero. Otherwise not really, I tend to hit my head on a lot of things :joy:

Lmao, I'm one of those that ask those that are tall to reach something for me.. :) It always ends with a good laugh... laugh laugh

If TheKid (at 6'8.) and I are food shopping together, he can see which cashier is open and has a shorter line before I can.

He can also reach the ceiling without a step stool. Comes in handy if hes visiting and there is a spider nearby. *laughing*

I don't think I've Ever sat in a chair or couch/sofa where my feet are flat on the floor and have support for my back. I usually slouch too much or get a lot of pillows for my back.

when youre tall, you find yourself being the one helping people more...when getting asked.

You do see a lot of women's dating profiles saying they won't date a man shorter than they are.

After 11 pages of pros and cons I think it's pretty safe to say that both being short and tall have their specific disadvantages and advantages.
I've read a number of arguments why being shorts is so difficult that are similarly difficult when you're taller. I know from experience and I ain't really tall, only 1.78m.
Fact is that things -clothes, cars, furniture, worktop height etc- are made for average height which is a problem for both short AND tall people.

It's as easy or difficult as you make it. There's only one thing you can do: accept it and not feel sorry for yourself.

Short people never have to worry
about ceiling fan induced concussions.

The only disadvantage I seem to have (being 5'9", short for a man by some standards) is that many women taller than I will not date any man shorter than themselves. In fact, I have seen many ladies profiles on dating sites that have the criteria for a man as being 6' and over.

Not sure about world averages.

However, in the U.S.,
average heights are.

Women: 5'2" to 5'6"

Men: 5'6" to 5'10"

At 6'5", I'm well within the
top 7% for height. bigsmile

I prefer tall men, I'm tall.

Short men aren't popular on dating sites .
