Topic: Do tall people have more advantage than short ppl? | |

Hi I’m interested to make a relationship |

Being tall can be a disadvantage when buying clothes and a advantage when reaching for items on the top shelf, playing basketball or volleyball. On dating websites, height has a bigger impact for men. Many women want a man that is taller than her. Or even sometimes a man that is taller than her when she is wearing high heels. While there are some men that prefer a shorter woman, overall I doubt most men would turn down an attractive woman just because she is tall. In general, I think men care more about a woman's weight or body type than height. |

It's a bit annoying in supermarkets when the short old lay asks politely: "You are so tall, can you pick that thing on the top shelf for me?" You find that annoying???? Geez, help the lady out! I always do, even with a smile, but sometimes I just wish they would just ask without stressing that I am so tall |

P.S. I have dated only a woman taller than me, but not because it would be a problem, just because they are not easy to find. But I don't mind 180cm tall ladies to wear heels if we have to go out. I find this need to be taller, earn more and be better than the women we go out with (and women's expectations that we are just that way) so 15th century...

Are there advantages that go with being tall, and do short people lose anything for being short? Sometimes Tall Men get more attention! |

There is a secret tall people handshake.
Those under 6'5", can't see or detect it. |
|
|

one disadvantage of being tall is things are made for people around 5'7 generally which leads to tall people having lower back problems from stooping....

Yes, talking to a local shorty and wondering when we meet if it will be a turn off? I guess time will tell.

There are both advantages and disadvantages of being tall. Things most people need a step ladder or stool for I usually can manage easier. (Im not extremely tall but tall for a female) However, having to bend down is not comfortable, low doorways, bus seats not having enough leg room.

Tall people have greater chance of heart failure Well yes there are some correlations between heart issues and I believe certain cancers too but keep in mind a relationship does not illustrate a causal factor much more must be considered like pre-existing conditions. weight, BMI. For example a person who is 5'2" and morbidly obsese with type II diabetes is going to be at a much higher risk of heart disease than a 6' individual who is athletic and in good health. |

Not when it comes to getting into a small car...

They can reach things on high shelves whereas a shorter person would need help or a step stool.

I’m only 5ft 3” which I don’t think is that short, and I prefer to date men that are tall

Since most of my friends are taller than me, I get to hide among them to avoid certain people.

Are there advantages that go with being tall, and do short people lose anything for being short? The main advantage is when you slap that annoying short man across the face for being a real douchebag and he flies 25 metres across the floor |
