I've never really understood why some women went for guys who were taller. Said no tall guy....ever. 5'10" is short....sorry brother.

I never thought I was that tall since all my brothers are over six foot as well. Best thing about being tall is you know your above average.

Im 6ft 1" and feel like im short compared to my son who's 6ft 4"!

I know for a fact all men aren't into small, slender women. I have a friend who is into big women. I like women with a little meat on their bones. The pencil thin model type is not up my alley.

Not that I am tall (I am not) But why are there so many guys under 6 foot here? My profile says 6 2 but since I am crippled I am only 4 9 lol

Had that discussion at different dating sites. I myself don't understand why ppl don't get it themselves. Thing is, it's not women per say wanting taller men, it's also men wanting women shorter than they are themselves. Most men don't feel comfy with a 'sky scraper' next to them, emasculating I spose. For a woman it's similar: I don't feel particularly feminine, sexy nor protected / safe (primal instinct thing) when I'm taller than my partner. I simply am not attracted to shorter man. The man can be attractive and I will notice that too, but I won't feel attracted to him. I'm 5'9" myself, never really noticed shorter men feeling attracted to me. Works both ways. I'm 5'7" and I prefer a man right around 6 ft. I feel odd towering over my man, so that height gives me some clearance when I throw the spiked heels on to dress up now and again. Plus I honestly worry about crushing a little dude in the bedroom, not that I'm enormous, but I don't want to break anyone so I prefer a guy who is bigger than me by a fair bit.

I met a guy who said he was 6'4 and 53 years old. Actually He was 5'3 and 64 years old His height didn't bother me, his lying did.

i have always stated i was 5ft but in reality im 4'11 lol my oldest grandson is 15 and he is 6ft 2 my ex hubby is 6'3 i actually adore men that are tall for i feel more secure but i have dated men in the past that were 5'2' 5'5

From what I've heard, the average height of a man is around 5'10," so yeah...tall men are a rarity. So, what you are tellin me is that I am below average? :/
