What is more important?
1. Your taste, or 2. Anyone's life If answer is 2, then why we kill animals for our taste. |

I like tasty animals.
I live in the country. I trap doves. They are much better than processed chicken. |

Animals are not people. That's the fallacy in your argument.

You live only for you not for others. Don't be cruel for innocents.

Yeah definitely animals are not humans but they also have heart and life.

You live only for you not for others. Don't be cruel for innocents. If we didn't breed animals for food and other products those animals would have no life at all. Have you ever been to India? They don't exactly treat animals well there because vegetarians have no use for them. There are laws against animal cruelty and your argument is absurd. It does not at all follow that someone that eats meat only lives for themselves. |

I am not discussing on any country's law. And yeah for me, those who know that they are killing animals for their taste and still taking animal diet, they definitely live for themself.

What is more important? 1. Your taste, or 2. Anyone's life If answer is 2, then why we kill animals for our taste. Well way back when before there were supermarkets on every corner, people had to get nourishment for energy from what the earth provided, that being fruit, veggies, nuts and the meat provided by the animals. They couldn't go buy a protein shake. The Indian culture actually had much respect for all living things, including the animals that they hunted. They thanked them for their sacrifice after the kill, and saw it as a natural balance between man and beast. Wasn't about flavor. Fast forward 'til now. Sure, we don't have to depend on meat for nourishment anymore, but I'm not giving it up. I'll thank that cow when I'm flipping the steak on the grill. A tofu burger is just not the same! |

Yeah, that's absurd. I've got a pet dog and she's not for eating. I had another dog before her that I looked after and loved more than anything. I'm sorry but I'm not devoting my life to farmyard animals and like I said, they wouldn't even be alive in the first place if farmers weren't breeding them. |

OP, if you had to survive in the wild, without money, what would you eat? Not sure leaves are that sustainable. The same with berries. So wouldn't the only choice be to eat meat?
Also, some animals are breeded to be kept in Wildlife Parks and Zoo's :) I just think it's unfair that animals don't have a say in whether they want to get pregnant. But, just like that Panda who's always in the news, it's also a nice treat. Farmer's don't actually really view cows and such, as pet's. They just see them as another meal. It's a farming thing. |

its the circle of life
we are at the top of the food chain even vegetables have 'life' in them , yet we kill (cook) them and eat them too and the animals eat animals and vegetation to get the nutrients they have absorbed from the sun and the earth human life is indisposable to me, but animals (some) and vegetation (some) are a source of nutrition that I don't feel guilt in consuming |

If it wasn't natural to eat animals then why do animals themselves eat animals and sealife eat other sealife?
The problem I have is the cruelty to animals while waiting to be slaughtered |
|
|
|
the food chain decides who eats whom
not everything that's 'natural' from one species is 'natural' to another,,, however, animal 'cruelty' Is uncalled for |

Its all part of nature..like it or not..it is what it is

If God hadn't meant animals to be eaten, he wouldn't have made them out of meat.

I finally figured out the question...
My answer... If God didn't want us to eat things... Maybe God screwed up by making them taste so good. If God don't want us to eat animals...God probably shouldn't have made them out of meat. Put carrots and potatoes and onions with Roast beef or pork or fish or chicken..... Or...put carrots and potatoes and onions with nothing. Sure...vegetables are good. Put em with meat and they are AWESOME!! |
