I can't imagine how difficult an exam in electrical engineering must be - my mind reels to try to comprehend! This BTW is the same son who I have talked about on here before who was put in special ed, and got in trouble for staring out the window in 4th grade....lol CONGRATULATONS! I used to get in trouble in third grade for staring out the window, the teacher told my mom that I daydreamed to much......... |

A couple of things, sweetest:
First, congrats to your son! Engineering would kick my butt if I tried it. Your son does put me to shame, however. We're same age yet he's getting somewhere in life. I'm kinda stuck in the mud, twiddling my thumbs. Second, your style of music is hip beyond a shadow of doubt. Deftones? Yeah, you got some style. I enjoy seeing you post in the music forum. |

That was me from kindergarten all the way through until I reached high school. And I'm still that way sometimes. It's all good. I think it's a sign of a bright mind if you get bored with the same old same old and find more interesting things in your imagination to fill the time... |

Congrats to your son, and congrats to you! thank you. with kids of your own you understand how much this means! it is 110% his accomplishment alone. Funny you should congratulate me. When he graduated from his Bachelor's Degree and said he wanted to go to grad school, I was initially against it - not for any really negative reasons, just that it did not seem practical at the time. He listened to all my reasons...which were mainly concerns about we could possibly afford it...and went solved all those issues on his own. At that point I realized how sincere he was and how important it was to him. He has earned every bit of praise he has received. thanks hippie |
