Hepatitis A is a contagious disease. It travels in feces, and can spread from person to person, or can be contracted from food or water. In cases of contaminated food, it is usually the person preparing the food who contaminates it. http://www.foodborneillness.com/hepatitis_food_poisoning So, utilising some form of distorted logic, you're saying that food workers without health insurance are likely to transmit Hep A? I don't. I would rather pay the nickle than the medical costs involved on the cure. its a no- brainer. DUh and its spelled utilizing I will never ever eat at papa johns and will urge others to avoid it like a disease. |

Please note that American English is a simplified version of the English most other nations 'utilise'. I'm sure your spellcheck didn't like it, but it's not the greatest tool. from Latin ūtilis, from ūtī (“use”). If the root is Latin it ends in 'ise', if Greek, 'ize'. It is a good idea to look into something before you shoot your mouth off. http://www.onlinegrammar.com.au/us-and-australian-spelling/ Btw, it IS distorted logic, as you are just as likely to pick that disease up in any other establishment. Your elitist and alarmist attitude is unwarranted. |

Most of the workers there (unless in corporate or management) are part time workers now any way.
My son worked at Little Caesar's for 3 yrs and they cut his schedule if he got near 40 hours a week. My nephew worked for Cheddars and my niece worked for Cracker Barrel...all part time workers Not sure what it is like in the rest of the country, but around here, fast food, pizza places and restaurants all have part time servers now |

So according to what your saying that from the time they opened up for business the employees have been spreading disease? It's not that they are droping their insurance they are cutting their hours so they don't have to pay for insurance. And why does it make a difference? The employees can just go on the state insurance exchanges required by obamacare. That's one step closer to single payer that the liberal progressives want. So why are people complaining about it? You should all be happy these businesses are helping Obama get to nationalized healthcare. |

I plan on sending letters to the chains that are talking about laying-off employees due to Obamacare...It would be hard for me to patronize these establishments now. I don't want to hurt the employees who are left but just "going along" isn't my style either...If I worked for one of these companies right now I'd look for another job. It's always been important for me to have a certain amount of pride and trust in my employer...I'd be willing to pay a little extra for food (too) to secure jobs for the employees with benefits...When morale goes down in a company it spills over to customer service eventually...Some employees turn into "brown-nosers" and near "slaves" in an attempt to try to hold on to their jobs. And other employees become passive-aggressive and walk around in "foul moods." (When their bosses aren't around.) I think Papa Johns and other companies who make this type of announcement (which is just whining and complaining) are stupid. What they are announcing is that they don't care about their employees, all they care about is profit. They are doing this just because they don't like change. Well I say screw them. Boycott anyone who makes these kinds of public announcements. Don't work for them, don't buy their stupid pizza's. |

At least they are ballzy enough to say what they and others will do. I ordered from them. My friends will too. If you don't buy from them you dont care about their employees.

Probably full timers. Lol. |

However, I could start a Nation wide campaign to boycott loud mouth junk food places who are too greedy to provide health care to their employees and if everyone did boycott them and if no one will work for them, then they will go out of business. I'm sure they will survive without my business since I never give them any anyway. But they stand to loose millions with all the bad press twitter can do to them. |

While ya'll all out ther boycotting, boycott the businesses that hire Illegals. They don't pay for health insurance either. I don't care about who doesn't pay for health insurance. Like I have said at least four times already, businesses have been doing that for 20 years. IT IS NOTHING NEW. I seek to boycott the loud mouthed chains who feel it necessary to announce publicly that they are going to cut hours because of Obamacare forcing them to provide health insurance. With or without Obamacare tax, they are too cheap to provide health insurance. They are just announcing to the world how they don't really care about their employees... which we already know, but I say boycott them for being cheap ********. |
