Yay,great,go ahead kill all those Franchise,then tell me how you support the small Business! its actually a tight spot to be in its like knowing a parent is being abusive to a child removing that parent both saves the child and causes the child great loss,,,,but how many would leave the parent there so that the child would continue to have the 'support' over accepting that the child may find better support and love somewhere else,,,? sometimes , despite the common 'anything they give you is better than nothibng' mentality it is best to stand for SOMETHING , have some standards, and be without the job than to be with a job where you are treated like crap,,,, Who says they are being treated like crap? What effect will a boycott have on those who like their job and it causes the company to shut their doors? Then you have more on unemployment when the job market isn't very friendly.

All the other major restaurant chains are doing the same...hiring and going to part time workers. not 'all' of them but for years before now, employers have been outsourcing and turning to part time workers, this is just another way to cut costs but blame someone else,,,, So true Msharmony!

I'm pretty sure if there really was an effective boycott of Papa Johhn's or any other company, the company would wise up and change its ways long before it actually had to close. Especially when all they had to do was raise their prices. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I'm pretty sure if there really was an effective boycott of Papa Johhn's or any other company, the company would wise up and change its ways long before it actually had to close. Especially when all they had to do was raise their prices. Seems like a no-brainer to me. They won't close, remember, any press is good press. It's much ado about nothing.

All these non business owners who do not understand running a business coming out and attacking business owners who understand running a business is the same thing as republican politicians lacking science degrees attacking scientists who have science degrees.

I know business owners who also agree that the claims are bogus,,, and then there is the issue of 'math' that really doesnt require immense knowledge of running a business,,,

News flash to Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter: Obamacare isn’t the only thing costing your business money. The pizza chain head has made his views on the Affordable Care Act clear in recent months, claiming the new health care law will cost his business about $5 to $8 million per year. To compensate Schnatter's said he will likely raise pizza prices and cut back some workers’ hours so he doesn’t have to insure them. Caleb Melby of Forbes has graciously done the math on Obamacare’s cost to Papa John’s and according to his analysis, to cover the cost of Obamacare, the pizza chain would have to raise prices by 3.4 to 4.6 cents per pie -- way less than the 11 to 14 cents Schnatter claims he needs. I dont think people have or will boycott employers who need to cut back I think people are talking about boycotting those employers who use the presidents election as their EXCUSE for doing so OWN your own ineptness to have a successful enough business model or your own *** wholeness and greed for putting greed above human value,,, cowards who try to use the election to hide behind and threaten others,, they are a new low....

Its something that should be considered in this debate. Do we as a society wish our food to be prepared by unhealthy people? IS it worth the extra nickle to insure them? I say yes and for gods sake let them work full time. I go to a family business for my pizza it tastes better and I feel better knowing mom dad grandma and grand kids are doing the food prep. I am weird like that though, my kids had friends that worked the fast food places and the stories I have heard...... one should really consider if the drive through is worth a chance at Hep c.
