I've noticed more hunting and fishing pictures in mens' profiles lately. Do these pictures really attract women? I get that hunting and fishing is big for some men, but I don't get why these pictures are often in profiles.

The purpose of the profile is to let others know "who you are". Hunting and fishing is a big part of who many men are.

depends on how big your fishing rod is or the gun your packing You still need to know how to cast and how to shoot properly. Sometimes a short rod is needed like when blooping in a small creek for rainbow trout. You also don't want a huge rifle when hunting delicate soft quail. When I was younger I had a 410 shotgun. I swear, when I hit a goose with that thing, she didn't feel a thing, but it worked well on a nice quail or small duck. Now that I am older, I have an OK gun that gets the job done. sometimes I try and find something to modify it, but I have learned that just by learning to use it properly its just fine.

Yes, I get that people want to show their interests. I made this thread after seeing some guy's picture of him and a dead boar. I see that he's proud of what he killed, but I just don't see that as being a good profile picture. But, maybe there are some women out there who would think he's awesome for showing off what he's killed.

metaphors are lost on some ppl Naw....I get it...I got a big d*** too. Back on topic... I hunt and fish at the super market...works for me. We used to have dudes post actual pics of themselves with their fresh kills...obviously, it made them happy. Strangely enough...didn't get chicks as horney as you may think.
