when i was looking.. on here i liked to see a pic of people doing what they enjoyed doing.. though not over doing it.. like one of each..

To me; seeing a hunting or fishing picture means he gets outdoors and is just not another couch potatoe. I think its great to see personally.

i agree navygirl!!and for many men... it is a pride thing meaning they like to be a provider.. hunters are a provider of food..

No different than women including pictures of their dogs and/or cats. That's definitely not just a woman thing. And I don't see it as being the same, as they're not posting pictures with dead cats and dogs.

Isn't it better for a man's image be one of him hunting or fishing instead of being one of him without a shirt on? Think about it. If a man is the stud that he imagines himself to be, then why is he single and looking?

We need to realise that people post info and pictures of things that interest them. I don't view men's profiles so I can't say what's in them. I've said before that men should, at least, have a woman review their profile to see how it comes across. Women should do the same thing. Sometimes men or women say one thing but the opposite sex may interpret it in the wrong way.

We need to realise that people post info and pictures of things that interest them. I don't view men's profiles so I can't say what's in them. Sometimes men or women say one thing but the opposite sex may interpret it in the wrong way. I see it that way too that its something that interests them. This is why I will put pics of me in costume, working out, my military uniform, etc. These are things that I am interested in and if someone doesn't like it; who cares. They can find someone who is lying on the couch doing nothing if that is what they seek.

You do realize it sounds like you're putting down those who are single and looking.

The purpose of them being shirtless is different. It is an issue pertaining to the environment that they are in when the photos are taken. Either that, or the men are trying to show the fish who has the bigger ego. Fish: "Look at me! I have big fins." Fisherman: "That's nothing. I have a big . . . . . . stomach."
