Topic: When tough dudes cry..............

I have had two dudes (big tough dudes) cry when we broke up. Both times, I just sat there not knowing what to do. I mean we were breaking up so I didn't think it was right to hug them. I didn't feel horrible. I just felt awkward. I just didn't know what my reaction should be. What should I have done? Guys, do you feel awkward when some chick bursts into tears? TL

yes we all do but we cant hug her or let her cry because in both case we are the ones who get blamed even if not at fault

Ive mostly dated 'tough dudes' only one who cried was my first husband, I cried too because I loved him still and we hugged and continued to talk through the issues causing our break up,,,,

I've found it a little bit akward but sometimes its endearing to know they can let the image drop enough to show true emotions

I have found myself hugging them in a sort of equivalent to patting them on the back sort of way while offering sound relationship advise so that the next time might be better....I am either that good or totally warped!!

Try the break up in a public place. Not much you can do to control others behavior. Keeping it going to spare them is not a option.

TL Try to act that you're about to be beaten or raped by seven guys who are twenty city blocks away, and thus putting the tough guy back onto solid, familiar ground. He will try to defend your honour, and therefore he'll forget about his loss. The last three chicks who hugged me coz I cried during the break-up ceremony, all got pregnant by me soon after that hug, seven or eight times each. HUG A DEPOSED BOYFRIEND = NON, NO, NOS, NOT, NONONONONO.

The last time a guy 'cried' in front of me, I knew it was horse-****. Dude kept squinting, hoping he would release some tears. In my experience, I don't find dudes crying over a breakup w/me. They usually have other chicks lined up anyway. I find myself not caring in the same sense. So it's all good. No tears wasted on either end

Ha! I went on a couple of dates with this chick. I told her on the last date we had that we needed to be friends. She went into hysterics. She cried, was shaking, and then called me a "sumbitch" for being honest. I just looked at her, took a few steps back, and then asked, "Sooooo....does this mean you hate me now"?

When men cry for the right reasons it is very sexy, manly...When they cry for the wrong reasons it is a total turnoff and a HUGE red flag....When they fake it, turn and run, run very fast, don't look back....Don't answer the phone the next day either....

I still think that using a neuralizer is a better alternative.
