Faith is - Hope, Desire, Want. which is why Faith.. lies in the mind of the beholder either as a concept or a delusion but to claim that Faith exist beyond that....is to weld Faith and that is practicing Witchcraft |

lol the whole OP was so out of context. People are allowed to believe/not believe anything they want. God gave us free will, but it doest mean you have to be retarded and take stuff out of the Bibble out of context and suit it to your own purposes. Oh wait Lucifer does that >_<

And you complete a law when it only has power for a certain amount of time. Weather it be for a time span eg., a year, a day, ect. Or till something happens in specifics. Thus we have - Cowboy...Jesus said that he did not come to change the laws...he was referring to Jewish laws.... trying to prove that Jesus wasn't Jewish or that his teachings weren't based on and quoted from Jewish Scripture is the same as you denying Jesus ... Jesus clearly weren't Christian .....Jesus didn't refer to any of his followers as being Christian...and as you guys keep constantly pointing out Christianity does not exist anywhere in the bible all the facts points to the followers of Jesus as being Jewish Jew in itself is not referring to a religion Funches, it is a culture, a nationality. And no Jesus wasn't a "Christian". A "Christ"ian is one that obeys and follows after Jesus "Christ". 1 a member of the tribe of Judah b: israelite 2 a member of a nation existing in Palestine from the sixth century b.c. to the first century a.d. |

You have no faith in ever meeting up with a woman? Sorry to hear this man :(. |

This flesh is only temporary, it is the temple of God. You are not this flesh, Cowboy...claiming that you are not this flesh is to deny who you are and what God created you to be.... the flesh forms what will one day after death be the spirit ..the flesh is part of the test that will determine whether you will be tossed into Heaven as a slave or tossed into The lake Fire to burn It's not denying anything God created. Notice "and man became a living soul". And no this body will not magically turn into a spirit lol. Genesis 2:7 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. |

Cowboy you've stated in this forum many times that you are not a Christian ... also all you have to do to become Jewish is.."Convert" you might have to get an Exorcism but you definitely have to get a circumcision |

I don't have faith in cupid, what are you talking about? |

Yes my flesh is PART of what makes me, this much is true. But I am not of this flesh. This flesh will one day die, I will live on due to the gracious glory of God. |

Thank you, would you mind going a bit more in depth on how you feel it's *****ed up as you claim. This is the thread for it and all. Just couriouse on your perspective on thing. Believers will say "non-believers don't understand what religious faith is" funny thing is they do that's why they don't believe it. Here are some external evidence of the things documented in the scriptures. •Ebla tablets—discovered in 1970s in Northern Syria. Documents written on clay tablets from around 2300 B.C. demonstrate that personal and place names in the Patriarchal accounts are genuine. In use in Ebla was the name "Canaan," a name critics once said was not used at that time and was used incorrectly in the early chapters of the Bible. The tablets refer to all five "cities of the plain" mentioned in Genesis 14, previously assumed to have been mere legends. •Greater proportion of Egyptian words in the Pentateuch (first five books) than in rest of the Old Testament. Accurate Egyptian names: Potiphar (Gen.39), Zaphenath-Paneah (Joseph's Egyptian name, Gen. 41:45), Asenath (Gen.41:45), On (Gen. 41:45), Rameses (Gen. 47:11), Oithom (Exodus 1:11). •Finds in Egypt are consistent with the time, place, and other details of biblical accounts of the Israelites in Egypt. These include housing and tombs that could have been of the Israelites, as well as a villa and tomb that could have been Joseph's. •Confounding earlier skeptics, but confirming the Bible, an important discovery was made in Egypt in 1896. A tablet—the Merneptah Stela—was found that mentions Israel. (Merneptah was the pharaoh that ruled Egypt in 1212-1202 B.C.) The context of the stela indicates that Israel was a significant entity in the late 13th century B.C. •The Hittites were once thought to be a biblical legend, until their capital and records were discovered in Turkey. •Crucial find in Nuzi (northeastern Iraq), an entire cache of Hittite legal documents from 1400 B.C. Confirms many details of Genesis, Deuteronomy, such as: (a) siring of legitimate children through handmaidens, (b) oral deathbed will as binding, (c) the power to sell one's birthright for relatively trivial property (Jacob & Esau), (d) need for family idols, such as Rachel stole from Laban, to secure inheritance, (e) form of the covenant in Deuteronomy exactly matches the form of suzerainty treaties between Hittite emperors and vassal kings. •Walls of Jericho—discovery in 1930s by John Garstang. The walls fell suddenly, and outwardly (unique), so Israelites could clamber over the ruins into the city (Joshua 6:20). •In 1986, scholars identified an ancient seal belonging to Baruch, son of Neriah, a scribe who recorded the prophecies of Jeremiah (Jer. 45:11). •In 1990, Harvard researchers unearthed a silver-plated bronze calf figurine reminiscent of the huge golden calf mentioned in the book of Exodus. •In 1993, archaeologists uncovered a 9th century B.C. inscription at Tel Dan. The words carved into a chunk of basalt refer to the "House of David" and the "King of Israel." And the Bible's version of Israelite history after the reign of David's son, Solomon, is believed to be based on historical fact because it is corroborated by independent account of Egyptian and Assyrian inscriptions. •It was once claimed there was no Assyrian king named Sargon as recorded in Isaiah 20:1, because this name was not known in any other record. Then, Sargon's palace was discovered in Iraq. The very event mentioned in Isaiah 20, his capture of Ashdod, was recorded in the palace walls! Even more, fragments of a stela (a poetic eulogy) memorializing the victory were found at Ashdod itself. •Another king who was in doubt was Belshazzar, king of Babylon, named in Daniel 5. The last king of Babylon was Nabonidus according to recorded history. Tablet was found showing that Belshazzar was Nabonidus' son. •The ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah have been discovered southeast of the Dead Sea. Evidence at the site seems consistent with the biblical account: "Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens." The destruction debris was about 3 feet thick and buildings were burned from fires that started on the rooftops. Geologist Frederick Clapp theorizes that that pressure from an earthquake could have spewed out sulfur-laden bitumen (similar to asphalt) known to be in the area through the fault line upon which the cities rest. The dense smoke reported by Abraham is consistent with a fire from such material, which could have ignited by a spark or ground fire. |

You have absolutely no way of knowing for sure if it was or wasn't. Thus people have placed their faith in the history we are taught is the truth. Thus, it is no different then God and the history we have documented of. Thus also, why we will also be judged on our faith and not purely just actions. |

The dense smoke reported by Abraham is consistent with a fire from such material, which could have ignited by a spark or ground fire. example: i can go to miami and a meteorite smashes into a condo complex and say "look did you see what God did?"Theres your religion in a nutshell.what you posted also has more to the story about what others think of the findings.Science has proved alot of what the authors misrepresention of the source of what caused certain events. Also you have to take into consideration the old testament was written after the events supposively happened not during.Meaning they can fix it how they wish it to be. Yes, they "can" fix it how they wish it to be. But same could be said for every bit of history that we are taught. Everything people claim as "fact" about history, could have all been fabricated. You have absolutely no way of knowing for sure if it was or wasn't. Thus people have placed their faith in the history we are taught is the truth. Thus, it is no different then God and the history we have documented of. Thus also, why we will also be judged on our faith and not purely just actions. Do what now? Jewish Zombies? What are you talking about? Zombie - A soulless corpse said to be revived by witchcraft, esp. in certain African and Caribbean religions - a person held to resemble the so-called walking dead Neither one of these fit anything anyone has said, nor are they supported by the scriptures. Who was talking about zombies? |

Jew in itself is not referring to a religion Funches, it is a culture, a nationality. And no Jesus wasn't a "Christian". A "Christ"ian is one that obeys and follows after Jesus "Christ". Cowboy you've stated in this forum many times that you are not a Christian ... also all you have to do to become Jewish is.."Convert" you might have to get an Exorcism but you definitely have to get a circumcision Again, one can not "become" a jew. A Jew is a nationality/culture, not a "religion". people "convert" all the times....also those that Jesus were teaching at the time had no need to convert since they were Jewish anyway .... |

Faith is - Hope, Desire, Want. which is why Faith.. lies in the mind of the beholder either as a concept or a delusion but to claim that Faith exist beyond that....is to weld Faith and that is practicing Witchcraft So you have no hope, desire, or want for tomorrow? You have no faith in ever meeting up with a woman? Sorry to hear this man :(. if the Elephant Man and Quasimoto can meet women ...then explain why you would need faith to meet them ..sounds like a self-esteem problem do you believe that if you have Faith that cupid is going to shoot love arrows into Women apses everytime you walk pass them why do you keep trying to turn Faith into Witchcraft What are you talking about? Your responce has almost nothing of what I said. You don't need faith to meet anyone. Again, faith is your hope, your desire, what you truly believe is true. I don't have faith in cupid, what are you talking about? "Cowboy 3"... perhaps you should ask "Cowboy 1" because he was the one talking about needing faith to meet women ... also needing faith to believe in something is exactly why "to believe is to doubt"....funches 3:16 |
