I pretty much won't even consider a guy less than 50 years old and I am 41. I am a total age bigot. By that age, their kids are usually grown. They know what they do and do not want out of life.

Why should it be too old or even old anyway? I'm not keen on ageist thoughts. People always expect some twenty-something to date someone their own age. I have no clue why. . It is not pervy if a twenty-something is attracted to someone way older. If you're both in love and see the relationship going somewhere, then i see no problem :) I've dated men twenty year older than me and it was just as good as any.Just ignore people's silly stigma's. That's all it is really. Just opiniated snobs :)

I'm in the same boat and trying to find someone at 40..it sure isn't easy but I'm a good person and have a lot to offer so I'm trying to be patient and hopefully I will meet someone and I'm sure you will too!

I used to know a Jewish woman whose life goal was to get married. She became very, very good looking at around 50. Nobody knew her age, she could have been any, but a friend of mine who had known her from before, told me she must be around that age or more. She was still never married then. She married a chartered accountant. Happiest marriage! They both stopped seeing all their friends, and quit coming down to the club where we were all meeting.
