What is the best way to move on from a broken heart. i was dropped after what i thought was a perfect two years with someone and she went for someone else. i know now somethings that could have been better, but how do i accept it and just not love that girl anymore?

I asked my Grandfather for help on a similar issue once. His answer was "Cowboy up. And quit bein' such a p***y about it, you sound like somone took your teddybear". The simplicity of his answer, gave me mine. I miss his advice. Good luck.

Move on as soon as possible. Being dropped can be a blessing.

Just keep moving, take one day at a time, always looking forward. Make new plans, set some goals and just enjoy your life.

You do not have to stop loving them. They just moved on in a different direction. You have a good heart that somebody will love and appreciate back. Keep searching for her.

Good luck. well that is what i have done i guess. its more of the understanding of it. it surprises me. and the messed up thing is its not like this is the first time ya know?

It truly does suck, and theres not much you can do but let go and realize theres better out there waiting for you..easier said then done?..yes, but there really is no other way

You do not have to stop loving them. They just moved on in a different direction. You have a good heart that somebody will love and appreciate back. Keep searching for her. True, I still love all 3 of my special ladies in my heart. Can't forget them, but the memories didn't keep me from searching for another.

That's something you'll have to figure out on your own. We all have different ways of dealing with our issues. If you're having trouble accepting what has happened, talk to a friend you can trust, or even go to a professional, who is trained to deal with such matters. There's nothing wrong with getting help when needed. You can even talk to us here about it, if you would like. You will get many different views, advice, etc. Take time to heal before seeking new relationships. You don't want to hurt others as you have been hurt.

I'm sorry that happened to you. All you can do is take one day at a time. Only time will heal some things.
