Hi, justme659. Are tout having one email account forward Mingle2 mails to another email account? From what I can see, we are not having any issues with notifications.

It is someone I was writing to on a regular basis. Charles: No, I just have my mingle2 mail set up to notify me at my sign on e-mail account when I have mingle2 mail. It just took 5 days. Is this normal? |

Are you receiving other email messages in a timely manner? The one I just got now showed up in a timely manner. The ones I got monday at mingle notified me this morning. |

Could have been a mail server issue, perhaps a server was down for a while.

Is this normal? It's not normal, no. If it's working as it should now, perhaps we'll just chalk it up to web strangeness. If it continues, we can do more thorough testing. |

I'm checking to see that automated emails are being sent in a timely fashion, klc. I also sent a test mail, and it did not bounce back, so that is a positive.

lately I havent been receiving notification of messages to my email. I will come on the site to find I have mail tho. I received notifications right on schedule, for years. Then they stopped. No apparent reason. So after many months of that, I went in, removed my email address that Mingle2 forwarded my mail to. Then I re-entered it. Problem solved. I do not know why, but it worked. Have now been receiving email notifications, ever since. |

thanks. I got the email, but does that test whether I will get an email notification when I have a message here? maybe ill try what soufie did. Also, check that your email is NOT redirecting the email from Mingle2 to the spam file. Happens. |

lately I havent been receiving notification of messages to my email. I will come on the site to find I have mail tho. I had something similiar happen once. It was around a week ago or within the last week here where the "Mail" screen showed that I have 1 new email message but when I went to my inbox there was no new mail? |

Doing what soufie suggests is a good idea, because there are no problems with the mail process / server at this time. WholesomeWoman, that is a different matter. It can happen after we purge a scammer's mails, for example, and eventually the counter corrects. |
