Like me, you have a good heart. Have fun, look around and try pvt party sales.
Sapphires are reasonable. My gf sent me looking for a promise type ring two months ago and it was enlightening for me. David Yurman has nice stuff from 300-1500. Actually, the stuff you see on TV looks really good and women don't mind so much about Diamonique and CZ's.. They look to add to their collection. |

I just mourn weddings cause that means the sex is DONE. I think that after the marriage, men stop being romantic and their women feel insecure and unloved, so they aren't in the mood. It doesn't make sense that men would stop being romantic after getting married. Perhaps that's why those marriages failed, though. |

When a marriage is sexless, it's not simply because the woman has a ring on her finger. It's often because her husband's behavior changes. |

Giving jewlery has a lot of social implications; especially rings, and I would keep that in mind. If you are wanting to give just a love token and not be declareing something for ever Amen I would opt for a necklace or maybe a bracelet. If she likes hearts you could start a bracelet for heart charms and buy them over the months years representing various special times.
Besides having meaning as birthsotones some gems have "special" meanings so I would do a little reading on the subject. Another idea is starting a collection of pearls. They make a wonderful anniversary gift and can even be found in a variety of colors. Again doing your research and buying from a reputable dealer would be important. Occasionally you can buy estate pearls at pawn shops but again get a written valuation statement before you put any big money down. If you have someone who has military base priveleges they often sell top quality pearls for the price. If you are the relative of a service member you can buy USAA insurance and then buy through their buying service. Also Davis bridal has competative prices on jewlery. If you wait until around Mothr's Day you may find better buys on certain types of jewlery pieces. Just keep in mind under most state law the only jewlery that a woman must return when a relationshop goes south is only one engagement or cajoined wedding set jewlery where the woman breaks the ehgagement or there is a prenup stateing that it is only maritial asset and NOT a gift. Please note this is more general information and reflects no opinions about your love interest or your feelings toward her. I will say I have watched with great hope and prayers for your future Totage. It makes me happy to see you blooming into a much happier, stronger, and seeminly wiser person. But from what you have revealed I suggest you go easy in any huge decions so that you do not get ahead of yourself and sabotage the great strides you have made. A person of quality will want the same. So if she hesitates, she may not, don't feel shot down if she suggests something modest. Keep also in mind that some women have history with gifts of jewlery that make it less desireable as a gift on a personal level than women in general. Good luck I think it is wise that you are thinking this decsion through and asking for practical guidance to make a special gift. |

Obviously, it would depend on the occasion but have you thought about horn jewellery? It's pretty inexpensive and you can get some really unusual bits - earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces.
It's not all tribal or ethnic design/looking either, just some lovely, unique, pieces made out of cow horn. |

I'll check it out. TY :)

How can you tell if something is good? I want to buy my lady something nice, but no too fancy right now. Just a simple little ring or something, just because I want to. There's no special occasion, just that I love her is all. I don't want to buy her junk though. Buy anythign but a ring. Rings can be mistaken for their underlying intentions. Makes for an awkward acceptance speech. ("Thanks... erm, is it what it is?" "Of course honey. It is a gift. A ring. Get it?" "Ah... I am not sure. So it is a... or is it not?" "I don't know what's your problem, girl. You can be so daft sometimes. Try to dilute the thickness in your head, won't you now.") I would rather try this following lot instead: Broche; simple neclace; wristle-lace (forgot what they are called -- haven't seen anyoneone wear one in ages); cute watch; nipple rings (to wear to the opera or to her nephew's christening); silver salad tonges; gold-plated broom-and-dustpan set; gilded-edged dust cloths. If you are on a budget, maybe she would be happy with a pair of tacos earrings or a burrito neclace. Perhaps a crunchy-style tiamaria flavoured pezetas which she can use as a stohl. (A stohl is a type of mini-cape to cover her shoulders in the chill of the night, most often made from cut-up pieces of stohlen fur coats.) |

Honestly....NO
I ain't gonna spend my money on crap like jewelry....let a woman work her butt off for a ring or any trivial thing like a posession. I work my butt off to get my @$$ a day closer to being with my woman. It works out cause my woman is allergic to jewelry. :) Note: My pennies are being saved up to move to her. |

I work my butt off to get my @$$ a day closer to being with my woman. It works out cause my woman is allergic to jewelry. :) Note: My pennies are being saved up to move to her. I did some math, Krupa. You work hard to move a day closer to her. You save a few pennies every day. This makes me think that can't actually move your hose at all closer to her with more than even a couple of inches a day. This means, that if she lives ten miles from you, it will take you 345 years to get to her. If she lives 4788 miles from you, you need to buy a calculator to predict with any sort of practical probability the number of years it would take you to get close to her. Which might result in a date much later than the Red-giant eruption of our solar system's sun in a half billion years. So keep at it, young man. Everyone needs a goal in life; it's not achieving the goal that counts, but everything else counts only. This is a mental exercise to show poignantly the incredible futility of human life. ------ Unless "your pennies saved for her" contained typographical errors, having one too many Ns and one too many Es. |

I would happily work for 345 years to get me a day closer to my woman.
I thought that is what life and love are about. Working your @$$ off to earn the thing you desire most. |

If I were your girlfriend, I would slap you in the face having read this, and never ever again talk to you as long as either of us lived. |

Good thing that message was meant for my woman...not a girlfriend.
Besides...I don't mind a little slappin as long as it don't get violent. :) |

Good thing that message was meant for my woman...not a girlfriend. Besides...I don't mind a little slappin as long as it don't get violent. :) You know those Austrian folk dances with slapping clapping the others' hands and the rings and the lederhosen... I can just so clearly see you do that. You know, a slap here, a cheek-clappign there, of the rope-skippign type, some ringing and yodeling... that's how I see you make love. You wouldn't be Krupa if you did it any other way. |
