I don't think gender has anything to do with being smart or crafty. Both genders can certainly develop these qualities. I am talking about IN GENERAL women have had to learn to be smart and crafty because they normally do not have the physical strength and power to take what they want by force. What does a man do when he is angry? More times than not, they resort to violence and start slugging it out. Sometimes women might also do that with each other, but they usually resort to other means if they are up against someone much larger and stronger. There are always exceptions. Remember I am talking in general terms. Men hit women more often than women hit men. Men are more often larger and stronger than women. So a woman learns to out smart the man.

NEWFLASH!Men and women are different and will always need each other. It's always been that way and always will be. Neither is better or smarter they are just different.

Back in the dark ages, the Catholic Church would kill women who showed any signs of thinking for them self and being outspoken or questioning the status quo. This is just simply not true. The Catholic Church did some pretty horrible things in their attempts to force Christianity on the world. There is no doubt about that. But they did not specifically target women who were independent thinkers. I'm assuming you are referring to the various periods of time when witches were found and killed for practicing witchcraft. I will give you the fact that more of these are women than men but that's not relevant to why they were targeted. Witch hysteria has nothing to do with gender and men were put to death as well. Lots of men. A few, very specific, men stirred up a great deal of fear and hysteria about witches and witchcraft. They equated it to devil worship and making pacts with demons. They blamed all kinds of societal problems on it. More women than men practice witchcraft because women are the natural caretakers of the family and the village. So when they began to arrest people for it, it was more women than men. As far as disagreeing with the Catholic Church, the Inquisitions were equal opportunity executioners.

Men always chose women whom they think are not as smart as they are because smart women intimidate them. A man who thinks he is smarter than most women is deluding himself. In general, women are smarter. That is why they have been suppressed for so many years. Men fear women. The only thing a woman fears from a man is his physical strength. Not his brain. Opinions, everybody has 1. Does NOT make them right. I respect everyone's RIGHT to THEIR opinion.

Women just think there smarter because guys always say things like "Your right honey" or "That makes perfect sense honey" just to shut there azz up........
