how come we're not allowed to delete things we've posted?
like clear history or something? |

You can edit/delete, for about an hour
after you have posted something. Then it's logged history, with a life of its own. |

But there may be legal reasons also, someone might tell us. I find the old posts mighty handy if you want to figure someone out :-) |

I don't know about any legal reasons, but the main reason is so that threads make sense. In other words, we won't want a person coming back days or weeks later and completely editing his/her original message. We do want to give everybody some window for changing their minds, though, and we believe we do that.
