So current science is all wrong. The writings of an uneducated, fear driven ancestor with no scientific method are accurate because their imaginary deity told them so in a spiritual encounter?

I've experienced death. I have had the "encounter" and was brought back to life with a memory of it. I was brought back because my brain was not all the way dead. I became super aware of my surroundings because my brain was working overtime to try to jump start my body.

I have also experienced anesthesia for a surgical procedure. I have no memory of the time I was out. It is a blank spot. I was not dead.


Likewise for me.

Until I died I was of the Christian Faith. I did believe in life after death. Then, I died. I experienced first hand the beginning of the process of death. In trying to figure out what it was I had experienced I looked at both religious and scientific reasons. The scientific reasons made more sense to me to explain what I experienced. After that, I started examining all my religious beliefs and found that the majority of them are based on delusion and manipulation. Complex as those delusions are, they don't hold up to intelligent reasoning. There are too many conflicts and inconsistencies.

I feel anyone is allowed to believe what they want. Why is it that most religious types cannot allow me to believe what I want. I'm wrong about my own experiences but they are right because they read and believe something different?
