Topic: Do you believe in life after death | |
---|---|
I have been doing this a matter of "life after death" - I got a lot of voice and photo frames, about the life of the spirit world. I have the real photos of the "subtle world."

I believe because I chose to. No need to justify, I have my reasons.

I do based on personal experiences i have had plus researching on parapsychology/psyhical research how about you? Without bringing "faith" into the equation and because the answer can NEVER be fully known due to incomplete evidence, ambiguity, and even contradictions, I try to live my life as if there is life after death.... |

Slightly off topic, but if there is an afterlife, and we meet up with our "loved ones", what's the story there???? For example, I know a girl who was widowed 5 weeks after she got married. He was her childhood sweetheart. She remarried a few years later and has 2 great kids with her husband. My question is, who would she be with in the afterlife? Her first husband, whom she never stopped loving, or her present husband, whom she also loves The belief that you will meet up with your "loved ones" I think is something that comes from a religious belief. Also according to religious belief, marriage is "until death do we part." So, when you get to heaven you are no longer bound to marriage. And THAT is why they call it heaven. But in the spirit world, all you have to do is to think about the person you want to be with and you will find them. |

..no i think that man's willingness to believe there is life after death is just a means of coping with his demise...of course i'm gonna live forever so that is probably why i don't believe in life after death.. |

In High School Chemistry I learned that all matter including humans are made up of 3 basic particles, the Proton, Neutron and Electron. The only difference between the matter that makes up Humans and other matter is the energy patterns that hold these particles together.
In High School Physics I learned that energy can not be destroyed, it can only be released or transferred. The energy that makes us who we are is never really gone it is simply released upon the physical death of our body. The true question is, Do we retain cognitive awareness of that energy after it is released? I believe that the Dali Llama gave the answer to that question to Carl the greens keeper. " Upon your deathbed you shall receive total consciousness." So at least we have that going for us! |
