Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) In a small town, a wrongfully killed man exacts revenge on those who murdered him beyond the grave. This terrified me as a kid. One of the best made-for-TV horror movies.

One of the best made-for-TV horror movies. Agreed! Loved this when I was a kid. I had to settle for this since I can't find The Scarecrow (1982)

Armed only with crude weapons, they must descend to savagery and cutthroat tactics just to make it through each day. Any good? The title caught my attention when I saw it listed on Netflix Instant. Managed to finish the movie, though I'm sure this isn't going to be a cult classic with its mediocre script. It started out okay, but as the movie progressed, the plot seems to get more and more diluted. In the first part of the film, the zombies were walking really slow. So slow that the protagonists practically only had to nudge them to get past a horde. But towards the end of the film, some of the zombies suddenly start running (ala 28 days later) and gets aggressive. The characters were forgettable for me. Although, the actors did good in performing their roles. I have to give them that. All in all, if you're as hungry as me for a new zombie movie, then you'd probably watch this and survive. As for me, I'm not going to watch this a second time.
