Topic: Is there a "before" the big bang? | |

The big bang is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard..I thought people stopped believing that after middle school I never heard of that. I think the big bang is a pretty common theory. Do you have a more believable theory? |

I couldn't think of anything less believable

I couldn't think of anything less believable Not that I believe in the Big Bang, but I'm dying to here your hypothesis. |

I couldn't think of anything less believable I can. God made everything in seven days. |
Well I'm not a mormon so why would I believe in the big bang?

no, 6 days Seriously? You find that easier to believe than the Big Bang? Please explain how or why. |

Yes..how would the big bang theory even make sense..so im supposed to believe that 20 million years ago small matter exploded and created the earth with water, trees, clouds, and existence of life...not to mention the theory also includes creating the whole universe..very very unlikely

Now I want you to explain why and how you would believe that God made everything in 6 days. |

But the Big Bang did not 'create' everything all at once. It created all the matter necessary for the universe to evolve into what it is today.
Nobody believes that everything that exists today popped out of the big bang. You should watch the series "How the Universe Works." on Netflix. It is really interesting. |

The big bang is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard..I thought people stopped believing that after middle school I never heard of that. I think the big bang is a pretty common theory. Do you have a more believable theory? i tend to believe there was multiple big bangs...the universe is a big recycling area, everything gets used and then renewed...IMO |

You are right Moe i meant 20 billion so I was off by a whole lot more..I typically like shows that talk about this stuff sometimes they get quite comical..But hey people actually believe in scientology

There are still giant explosions going on creating matter. |

What used to be thought of as the universe is now thought of as a multiverse.

What used to be thought of as the universe is now thought of as a multiverse. And overview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39qmbl7mpJQ Awesome video. I did say that I feel that the universe was not created, but that it was "born." And he is talking about the umbilical cord and more universes. |
