Hey Krupa...
you never did post the picture that you said you were doing and using me as a model??? Whats wrong? Are you afraid it will scare small children. |

Are you Impatient....I struggle with this... How do we fix it?? Impatience isn't necessarily a bad thing unless it is out of control or negatively affecting you in some way. If it is a problem for you and you're having trouble with it, perhaps try to figure out why it is you are so impatient. |

I feel I am TOO Patient
but IM not sure if its genuine patience, because IM not sure how to define genuine patience,, I just know I am very slow to anger or any type of negative emotion really, but once someone 'takes me there',, watch out,, |

I am patient
occasionally I am not but that's the exception - like if I think Ima get in trouble at work or something like that One thing I notice is that sometimes people will try to push patient people to get a reaction, to see "what it takes" to get you to react this is just wrong on so many levels. I just make a note of who these people are and avoid them - that's different than being kept waiting for a genuine reason |

I'm actually a pretty patient person things don't get to me I can wait for them to happen most of the time.... Well unless it is something I'm really excited about and then just can't wait for it to come together.
I think a lot of times patientence comes from living life and understanding that at times things will happen on their own time not ours. Just learn to reap the rewards when they do hapen.. |

I'm patient... Until I think the person is doing it on purpose to aggravate.
Politically correct or not, my jewish customers seem the most impatient. Please, No offence to anyone here, 2 of my best friends are jewish. That being said, I've asked my jewish friends why it is common for customers to ask a question, NOT wait for a reply or cut you short and ask another question....then ask the original question over again. This rapid fire questioning approach tests my patients to it's limits. I truly feel as if they're mocking me and my business or trying to catch me in some lie or something. The answer I got.... John don't take offence to it, it's just the way we're raised. That helped a little. When you work with the public, it's a constant test of patience and demographic patterns develop over the years and navigating through different nationalities, personalities and beliefs requires extreme patience. |

I don't know. But I am Jewish and I'm not like that. I do know people who aren't Jewish who are like that, though. So, I doubt it's a Jewish thing. |

A big part of patience is replacing negative words with possitive ones. Can't, don't, won't, words like these can be replaced with can, do, will. In speaking I have even replaced cuss words and have noticed a big change in my thinking. Not that cuss words are bad, it's just that I was only using them in a bad way. Instead of looking at what we hate about a situation we can look at what we like about it, or what we can learn from it. Ever talk to someone and catch yourself using almost all negative words about a topic, or listening to someone doing the same. Well this has a huge effect on your thinking and actions. I call this my negative/possitive meter. Something I learned in College and I never forgot it. <lol> Replace the word "forget" with "remember". Instead of telling someone "don't forget about our date Saturday"...tell them "remember our date Saturday". A positive sets deeper than a negative |
