A big part of patience is replacing negative words with possitive ones. Can't, don't, won't, words like these can be replaced with can, do, will. In speaking I have even replaced cuss words and have noticed a big change in my thinking. Not that cuss words are bad, it's just that I was only using them in a bad way. Instead of looking at what we hate about a situation we can look at what we like about it, or what we can learn from it. Ever talk to someone and catch yourself using almost all negative words about a topic, or listening to someone doing the same. Well this has a huge effect on your thinking and actions. I call this my negative/possitive meter. Im pretty optimistic actually, i am just not patient, I have three kids, two jobs, i like to get things done, when i want an answer i want it immediately....it's pretty messed up. I have time frames and deadlines and it's hard to have patience and let others be responsible for their own actions at the same time. And this does not just apply to kids either, but friends and co-workers too. If everyone was on MY PAYROLL they would act accordingly, LOL. |

So you could look at it like this, if you decide not to take the time to get where youd like with Who You Like, then you may rush past the things that are most important to you about that person, you may otherwise pass the things you fined most important to yourself withen this rushing. Being a yung adult and still prone to wanting to RUSH or be impatient, I have to remined myself of this bydayly and it truely helps me.

Actually, I have used my art as an exercize in patience. IT works great because a hobby is some thing that you WANT to do...thereby you are willing to spend more time to do it right. The trick is applying that zen mode to day to day life.
