My parents lectured us all as teens about how smoking pot kills all your ambitions in life & such! 3/5 kids are potheads...LOL. Dad was a wild child most of his life and did much worse at times. As he got old and his health declined he would go overboard with the pain meds. One sister and I started smoking with Dad & when he was high he didn't hurt as much so ended up Mom didn't mind when we did it. So funny cuz my sister and I would usually go smoke in the barn so Mom wouldn't know! At a motel we stayed at for an uncle's funeral my sister and I were rolling one to go smoke with Dad so he'd pass out & the other sister was like WHAT  ya'll smoke with Dad? We both replied with "you don't"?? She said no so I laughed and told her no wonder he was pissed off at her more often than us
