I have relatives there and we still haven't heard from them. We're all hoping for the best and praying constantly for their safety.

It's actually scary when you think about the frequency and locations of these earthquakes. Indonesia, New Zealand and now Japan.

It is. They had a massive earthquake with a giant tsunami. I was informed that power and communications are down, which is probably why we can't contact anyone there. Even their oil depot got annihilated. It's a grim situation.

I will pray for all the people in Japan. Please include my country Philippines in your prayers as well, our local news said that it might hit us too. They gave us warning today.

I am in Japan and am doing well but my gf says they think there may be a second tsunami. Hope it's not near here. The quake could be felt here though.

I'm watching the live cam on the Oregon coast on TV. Not much to see. They were originally expecting the action to come around 7:15, but they've dialed that back to 10:30. I don't think there's going to be much to talk about on the west coast.

they always over-exaggerate. WHAT i hate is that with all the missing people who could and are still unaccounted for in Japan, they keep going back to lets see how this is going to affect our economy, how is this going to effect our money. . . . Really. . you couldn't wait a day to bring that up. .
