I have, its not my thing.
I don't really care about its legality And people that continue to do it later in life, with the exception of maybe three people in life that i know, they are bums of course.. right now I don't get to associate so much with the "cream of the crop" Its what I get for being a waitress...people who smoke aren't all bad I just think they loose so much of their potential in escaping, but I also think they are the least hazardous of those seeking escape no offense to those who partake, I can cite its use for medicinal purposes too those I find valid for people who are honest about their medicinal use |

Marijuana is the gateway drug. People who smoke pot only end up on crack, or herion, or something. Not to mention the murderous and/or criminal impluses it promotes.
Bottom line - This is your brain: This is your brain on weed: You be the judge. |

I smoked it maybe 10-12 times back in my musical days. The only thing that ever happened was I got a headache.
I do know a few people who smoked it for years, and who wound up with some problems re: memory, focus, concentration and such. I can't say that there's necessarily a connection, but it's the one consistent factor among all of them (that I'm aware of). I would never touch it again, but I quit using drugs and alcohol at 22. As for legalization, I'd be all for it if they ban alcohol at the same time. I think alcohol is far worse than pot. |

I think if they did it right they could wipe out the debt.
But is that what they really want? |

Wow, these comments are making me weak. All I can say is, omg did I accidently join the republican party? @Riding Dubz that is an awesome pic. You look like old boy from Friday! And hell yeah I've smoked; swishers, phillies, vegas, doobies, pinch hitters, pipes, steam rollers, bongs, I've even smoked outta someones hands once. It would be nice if it is at least decriminalized. @tribbles, you sound like the commercial from the 80's. Weed doesn't make people want to be a clucka or shoot up or murder anyone. I've smoked some damn good green in my life and I still have a job, pay my bills on time and am a productive member of society. @rlynne..."they are bums of course"???? Nice way to sterotype people while trying so hard not to. @s1owhand that was funny as hell, but then again, I'm stoned. |

Yes I've smoked it.
No, it isn't bad in and of itself. It shouldn't be decriminalized, it should be legalized. You should look into all the racist language used to make it illegal in the first place. Industrial applications should be definitely made legal, as hemp-seed oil makes a better grade of "ethanol" than corn. It's also good for the environment as one marijuana plant is the equivalent of 12 trees in converting CO2 back to oxygen. Just saying... Marijuana is not a gateway drug as labeled. Actually alcohol and tobacco are, as most pot users have tried them first. I smoked pot and never tried heroin, never became addicted to crack, never turned to murder or theft. Of course, I could be the exception to the rule, as I started smoking pot in college and it made my grades go up (probably made the essays more interesting). Legalized marijuana would increase the tax base of the federal coffers about $20 billion dollars annually, if taxed at a same rate as alcohol. It would also reduce the strain on the justice system by approximately 30%, as mere "possession" would not be considered a criminal offense. However, paranoia would go up about 60% as would the consumption of Cheetos, Doritos, and all Hostess products. Late night sales at Taco Bell would go up as well, probably requiring the need for additional staff. Movies starring Tom Green would probably make a comeback, and people would be finding Paulie Shore funny again. Cartoon Network would find an increase in viewership, and sales of PS3 and Wii games would go through the roof. This could lead to a reduction in childhood obesity, as the kids would have to go outside and play because their parents are using the game systems. Some of my thoughts to the matter, sorry for taking so much of your time. We now return to your regularly scheduled ranting. |

It's more of a personal choice with me. I'm already loopy as it is. |
