True,. very true the topic of ex'es can be a touchy subject. However, there are soem times, like with me when a perspective lady NEEDS to know a bit about my ex, because inmy eyes she has the right to know what she is getting into by dating me.

Now, dont getme wrong, I do not go on and on about her, but I iwll discuss what happened with her to my lady friend, and I will let her know hwy I chose what I did and why.

For example, I am still good friends with my ex. I have let her stay with me when needed, and offered her a place to stay right now. This is because she has a lot of mental health issues that are actually very disabling for her, and I had to choose between divorcing her in order to keep our kids, or trying to help her when she refused the help and having the state come in and take the boys away. Needless to say, a very hard choice to make.

Now, dont misunderstand me, when I say we are still good friends I mean it. iwill also telly ou that I will always love her, as she is the mother of my children and my first true love. However, ALL we are now is friends, and thatis all we are likely to ever be in the future, as she doees not have the capability of having a responsible relaitionship. I treat her as I would any other friend, to include offering her the couch if she needs somewhere to crash, etc.

I believe in telling any perspective lady friend all this as she has the right to know that I am still friends with my ex, and I do nto want there to be any misunderstandings down the road. you knwo what I mean?
