I have been accused of being a cougar. My last 2 exes were 8 and 10 yrs younger than me. I would never go after, say, someone my sons age. I didn't go "Hunting" for younger guys but it happened. What age is appropriate? They were both mature grown men who know what they want in life. I in no way robbed a cradle. With the first ex there were absolutely no problems with age. With the second there were. We were in different places in our lives my "baby" is `19. His was 3. I might get blasted but I am not back to wanting to be "mommy". Anyhow that was just one of our problems. I've dated guys in a broad spectrum of ages and don't really worry too much about it - from 23 years younger (my ex) to 10 + yrs older....w/e but honestly Haley at my age, or once a woman reaches her 40s, say....it gets harder to find single men - really & truly single- no drama - no attachemnts to exes - unless they are younger....by a little, sometimes a lot...w/e It is an unusual man who wants an older woman for a long term or permanent thing tho - just to keep that reality in mind is wise methinks |

I used to date younger, well older too, but it seems the younger ones were who were approaching me but it can get complicated so I am leaving it alone right now. |

May be true as they are my exes.. cuz of their ages or were there other factors? The first no... I think he just didn't want a long term with me... The second ...Partly age in the fact that he was still in the early stages of his life.. And I am ready for grand kids and Not going to bars and all the "young" stuff. |
