I Saw What You Did '65 "Fate dials the number...terror answers the phone!" TRIVIA: During its original theatrical release some theaters installed seat-belts so you couldn't be "shocked out of your seat". I wish they still do those theater gimmicks. :) Me too. William Castle tried to bring it back in the 70's with the killer bug flick Bugs, he wanted it so it would feel like something was brushing against peoples legs. But none of the theaters wanted to do it. |

The Reflecting Skin
A young boy tries to cope with rural life circa 1950s and his fantasies become a way to interpret events. After his father tells him stories of vampires, he becomes convinced that the widow up the road is a vampire, and tries to find ways of discouraging his brother from seeing her. He must deal with an abusive mother, a father with a charge of molestation, a band of youths creating havoc, and an unforgiving environment in general. |

What kind of scenes in a horror film scares you the most? When a ghost appears totally unexpectedly? When the main character does not see the ghost sneaking up behind him? When at the very end you find out that the main character was actually a ghost all along? But none of this compares to the feeling of arriving home alone and suddenly being stuck by a feeling of deja-vu that you are reenacting the very same scenes in the horror movie you just saw! |
