Zombie Lake

In a small village, somewhere in France, German soldiers, killed and thrown into the lake by the Resistance during WW II, come back.

On my list of worst zombie films I have seen. Jesus Franco who wrote it actually tried remaking it as Oasis Of The Zombies.

Nope, not even thenlaugh

From IMDB's trivia: Jean Rollin felt so embarrassed by this film he wouldn't admit for years he directed it under the name J.A. Lazer.

Zombies of War aka Horrors of War

HORRORS OF WAR derives from the "B" movie, Grindhouse tradition, made to play like a like a midnight movie. It is an independently-produced film made in a B-movie style, yet with a dramatic grounding and an eye toward bigger production values.......FILM SYNOPSIS: 'Feeling the pressure from Allied advance, Hitler unleashes his secret weapons giving rise to a type of warfare the world has never seen. Throughout the European theater of WWII, Lieutenant John Schmidt comes face to face with these "weapons." The Office of Strategic Services (O.S.S., precursor to the C.I.A.) initiates missions behind enemy lines to find the source of the weapons terrorizing U.S. soldiers fighting the Third Reich. Schmidt is joined by Captain Joe Russo and his group of war-hardened GIs who have experienced for themselves the all-too-real horrors of war in battle. Together, they must find and destroy Hitler's horde of nightmare weapons before his horrific vision can be fully realized

 You can always tell when it's someone involved with the movie writing the synopsis.

The story is actually nice, but the actors involved are one of the worst groups I've ever seen!

I searched in IMDb a movie I was about to watch and was amused that it has the lowest rating I have ever seen! 1.6 stars. Haha! How bad is this movie? laugh

Watched The Tunnel last night. A found-footage horror film that actually creeped me out in spots. For me it worked on the same level as the Blair Witch.

It was kind of a variation on films like Creep '04, End Of The Line, The Descent...unexplained things lurking in the dark. I'm a huge Lovecraft fan and it took me right to his stories like Lurking Fear.

I found all the characters likable which is hard to do in this sub-genre.

One complaint, and maybe they were "paying homage" but there was a scene that was directly lifted from The Blair Witch Project, having one of the guys yelling at the female because all she wants to do is film because it isn't reality to her, then taking the camera and turning it on her...this was done in BW with Josh and Heather.

But this is proof that you don't need a Hollywood budget to make a good film.

It actually didn't look like a low to no budget movie. :)

I also like that they didn't rely on a lot of blood or gore to make the movie scary.

The creepiest moment for me was when they found the guard.
