For Phantasm 2, they wanted the original actor who played Mike in the original to reprise his role, but they couldn't since he was in college and they couldn't coordinate schedules. The original actor does reprise his role in parts III and IV.

I did wonder about that when I realized the new guy was Mike.

Dr. Who is tomorrow when my son gets here again! bigsmile

Now I have The Twilight Zone

du-du du-du du-du du-du du-du

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call The Twilight Zone.
—Rod Serling

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead — your next stop, the Twilight Zone.
—Rod Serling

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas; you've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.[1]

Ooooh, looooooooooove Twilight Zone! And I adored the introductory narrative when I was a kid. Memorized it then and would say it under my breath when I was in school in an undesired situation. laugh

The original Twilight Zone has yet to be topped, hands down the best anthology series.

The 80's version wasn't bad, had some decent episodes. The last version(hosted by Forrest Whitaker) had some good ones. One I thought was cool was a sequel to the episode from the original series, the one with Billy Mumy where he wishes people to the corn field. In the sequel he reprises his role, and now has a daughter(played by his real life daughter Lily Mumy), her grandmother is afraid she will have the same powers as her dad.
