Different pokes for different folks. Some cultures like in Africa and Eskimos practice Polyandry. Both have disproportionate ratios of males to females. In the African cultures to marry one brother means she marries them all in that family. There are women here who are such total hose monsters they would see this as a gift from God. In Europe it is socially accepted that a man can have a mistress outside of marriage. As they saying goes, "A man needs to have a spare tire in his car." Frankly, Good for the goose, good for the gander. If us men can have multiple relationships and it is only spoken ill of and ignored otherwise why can't a woman get her multiserve on? I would have to say no. It is enough work to understand one woman and know here needs, I can't even begin to understand 8. Pfffft. They will all be talked out with that many around. You should be worrying about tool upkeep instead. |

If a few women agree to that lifestyle, respect wouldn't be an issue. Matter of fact, it might even give the kids a more stable environment. In a two parent household, most have to have both parents working and not having time for the kids. (Latchkey kids.) In a household with 4 or 5 women, 1 or 2 will always be home with the kids. |
