Nothing was conquered and no war was won on 9/11.

We have had mosques in this country for a long long time, one more make absolutely no difference.

apparently it does or we wouldn't be having this discussion. and killing 3000 people is not a victory? then why were they doing a victory celebration in the middle east countries?

Apparently people cannot separate terrorists from their religion.

Apparently hatemongering has become a big problem in this country.

Apparently people cannot be fair to all the terrorists religions.

Apparently we have a right to hate others and do violent things to them in their country in whatever name we want but when others do the same wrong it is somehow worse?

There are a lot of "apparentlys" that don't seem to be so apparent to some.

apparently to you either...we should be fair to terrorists now? and not one of those people that died that day did anything to the muslims.
all they did to die was go to work.
you need to go wear your burka proudly, because it is obvious that you don't like America or its ways...

Not even.

Apparently some people when faced with the facts can't compute it properly and they have to resort to the good ole right wing "Unpatriotic" rhetoric.

I am very patriotic to this country.

I am also able to treat people with respect and Muslims who are not terrorists are the norm not the exception and they are being badly disrespected in this country because the hatemongerers cannot help but show disrepectful they can be to those they feel are less human than themselves. If the terrorists belonged to the Christian religion, there wouldn't even be this discussion.

some people talk about the haters, while the whole time hate their own race. they are the worse hypocrites IMO. people usually get their references from their own mind. those that call other people haters are usually the ones that hate the most.

You know someone who hates their own race? I find those people interesting. I have met a couple in my lifetime. They are really enigmas.

As for the rest of it I agree that perpetuating hatred like with the Muslims and the mosque is a bad thing for all involved. People really should stop doing it all together.

If the terrorist were Christian we wouldn't even be having this conversation, hell, they would have wanted to build a Christian tower on ground zero to show their sorrow and healing.

Anyone Who hates their own race is a fool.

or extremely tortured

I have known several in my life,, and because I come from a family that loves each other, I have been very saddened by how they have usually been treated in their own family or commmunity

and like so many do on so many occasions, they learn to lump the WHOLE GROUP in with what the worst of them have done

black women who only date white men because so many black men screwed them over

white men who only date black women because so many white women have screwed them over

black men who only date white women because,,,,,,

you get the point ...lol

Forest said Stupid is as stupid does implying he wasn't stupid because he didn't do stupid things, right?

He never referred to himself as stupid.

I have found that those who hatemonger have a problem seeing it in themselves.

I guess it is hard to see that one is treating others as less than themselves because they cannot put themselves in their shoes. They can't see through their hatred.

It is sad to see.

Well then, I guess I am hating Islam on bogus grounds?

So if I were to walk through say Saudi Arabia i would expect to not get messed with too badly becasue I am a man. Now if I were to walk through Afghanistan, I would get abducted and killed in a horrible way. Why? I am American and NOT Islamic. I would catch major shart for being in the wrong place in any Islam dominated nation.

Any religion that preaches totality, oppression and murder of those not participating, brutal subjugation of women, and over harsh laws for everything under the sun and making Music and Art Illegal does not deserve to exist in this country nor should it in ANY democracy!

F Islam and F anyone supporting Islam. Also F anyone thinking Islam has a place here in America. The basic tenants of the religion conflict with our constitution! BUT OH, does that matter?

I love how so many sheet heads love to demand fair and equal treatment for things they have no grasp or understanding of that they are defending. That is the EXACT same thing as saying Fire Ants have a right to be in the United States.

Islam is like a disease. It will spread and if nothing is done about it we all die!

What is the sickest thing about this whole issue is defending the rights of a religion of control, domination, brutality, and child/ woman abuse. What is even sicker is that women defending this religion have no idea that in Islam YOU ARE PROPERTY! NOT PEOPLE!

Hating a hate filed religion is acceptable no matter how anyone wants to color this argument! I am so glad I am not in New York. I couldn't take this whole Mosque BS any more.

I turned my back on Christianity but they are not out to punish me for not being a Christian any more. I can tolerate them around. I can tolerate Buddhists. I can even put up with Scientologists and Mormons. None of them are out to dominate or own me. Islam though? NO DICE!

Tolerance is given where tolerance is granted and Islam does not offer that at all!

It is funny how you can put up a Sign that says "DO NOT FEED THE BEARS" and there is always some azzhole out there who has to do it. When the bear rips their arm off they cry they didn't know how dangerous bears are.

Hind Sight is 20/20 and when Islam finally does bite us good how many of those supporting Islam will say "We didn't think this would happen!"

That is exactly right. If you look into the history of Islamic warfare you will always find that they built a Mosque at the towns most important or Holy site.I will have to start a topic on that issue along with some history.

Look into the history of any warfare where people of one religion have invaded a people of another and the first thing to be built was a place of worship. Not the best example to use to attempt to prove a point.....but nice spin.

actually, you just proved it for him - thank you.

He specified "history of Islamic warfare" as though it were limited to Islam which it isn't. His point is that it's an Islamic thing which it isn't. Any people of any religion will erect a place of worship among first things done.

I have not proven his point. Just shown that it is not, as implied, strictly an Islamic thing. Hence it's spin and naught else.
