Treid the internet "thingy" a few times. Seriously there are some nice people out there.

But, there seem to be some that want everything but kinda on their terms. Ok, a guy has to accept that (most) ladys have been single for a while while the family grew. But know the kinda cling to a grown family expecting the guy to take either second place or "Conform" to ther lifestyle.

Be honest how many "He must have no baggage" ads have we seen where she has "x" kids?

Older PEOPLE are more set in their interests, desires & habits. FAMILY can be VERY important to both sex's. Learn to live with allowing others to have THEIR OWN WAYS. ACCEPT THAT & your results MIGHT IMPROVE.

As Sage says; it goes both ways. I have dated guys that would rather spend time with their kids or grand kids than me; so I just moved on. Their family is important to them and you will always be second to them. Although I respect them for that; its not the type of relationship that I wanted. Either accept it or move on as I did.

Don is correct. Generalizing about people is usually a mistake. Most of us here are here because we don't have someone in our life at the moment. The moments are longer for some than others.

I have found it difficult to find the right match up for me, but that doesn't mean I am unmatchable. It just means the right combination of traits haven't come together. And maybe they won't. But many men would consider Navygirl a prize to find. She is just in a difficult location.
