has anyone else lived alone so long that it is hard to be with people for a long period of time? just curious if i was the only one .lol

As far as does it interfere being with someone. I don't think it does it just would take some getting use to. But it has no effect on how long I'm with someone...

I think the longer I'm alone the more I hate it, but it would be easy to become a hermit. After a day at work, I just want to lock the doors behind me when I get home.

If your gonna live alone. You need some crazy pet. Like a giant iguana. So all the kids can say " look there's creepy iguana guy. My friend Billy told me, that his Dad told him. That iguana guy use to be a butcher and he still has all his tools. When people knocks on his door. he is polite and invites them in, but then he kills them and grinds them into meat chunks for his iguana. You know it's true Billy is a boy scout and they can't lie or they burn in hell, it's in the bible man."

Even though I have only been alone 3 years, I have gotten used to it. And yes. Even though at times I do get lonely, I am getting used to it. And even liking living alone. And i have noticed that the longer I stay single, the more pickier I am on whom I choose to date. I take longer in looking at people to see the real them.

I have never lived alone..as in no one else ever in the same house. I always had room mates, then an ex and kids, then a hubby and now me and my boys ever since....

I've lived alone for quite some time now and it hasn't affected me insofar as being with other people..Now for a LONG period of time, I wouldn't know that, but I don't think it would...just sayin'....

I have my children, but I'm so use to not having a man live in the house. Last summer I was dating someone and he always wanted to come over. I felt like I was being smothered. I like not having another adult in the house now.

that is why I have always had a dog, I love the devotion they will give U. I love people and expecially the ladies but a dog is constant and always there to great U with a talil wag and a doggie kiss!!
