Dude, if your not going to aplly yourself, then why bother posting? Is there a price for posting on everyone's topic?

Your thread title gave it away, and no, I don't get paid to post...but that would be pretty cool if I did.

Kind of a cool idea to get paid for it... lol...

The first one is not ok in any way shape or form...

The second one is ok b/c it's to save someone's feelings (not keep me out of trouble)... But I wouldn't let the person go out looking awful.... I wouldn't say 'yes, you look fat in that', I'd say something like 'I don't think the outfit is the look you want to go for'...

Hummmmmmmmmm seems to me they would not have to lie for it is all within the way you word your response...........As far as the flat out lie telling someone they only have a short time to live would it really benefit. To me that is just so wrong in so many ways. Once ya found out that person went and sold everything they had or give it away and then found out later it was not true. Humm but then after they found out and came after the one that told them it could end up ugly for they would only have minutes left most likely instead of a day or more.....

Yeahhhhhhhhhhh not a good thing at allnoway noway .........as far as what some call little lies. One does not have to lie they could just learn to use a different way of saying what they mean without hurting someone's feelings...........whoa

To me, Lying is the worst thing anyone could do, regardless of the situation.

I want to say no lying is never okay. But if I were being raped and the guy were to want me to tell him how good he was or I would die, I would lie through my teeth.

If I lived in a communist country that outlawed religion and I practiced one, I would lie to not end up in jail over what I believed.

If I knew the world was going to end and my children were still little, I would not tell them the world was ending so they could enjoy every last minute to the end of life.

So it seems like everything in this world there is never a black or white it is all shades of gray.

no. It's one of my biggest pet peeves. I live my life to be as genuine as I can. Someone who lies to me is disrespectful and not worthy of my time.

YES--------------IF "YOU" WANT TO LIVE AS A LIAR!

If NOT,,,then HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So,,,its ALL in what YOU FEEL YOU WANT TO DO?????

As for me,,w/o TRUTH,,why even TRY,,a friendship,,,as even THAT would be ended through a lie.....

Let alone a DATE!

Lying is fine if you don't get caught. If you are never caught then it is a truth (in a skewed way)

Here are perfectly acceptable lies.....

Do you mind if my family comes to spend Christmas with us?....Darling, I would love to have them over! Of course they are always welcome!

(try telling the truth about those freaks and see where that gets you)

Does my butt look like it's getting bigger? No...it is getting more succulent Baby!

(make one remark about two pigs in a spandex bag fighting over a milk dud and you will be lucky to make it out of the room alive)

That was the best orgasm EVER!!!! (tell me you would prefer to hear..."on a scale of 1-10 that was a 2.4")

Lying does serve a very distinct diplomatic purpose. Yes, the truth is preferable....but is it the smartest thing to always spit out the cold blunt truth? Not on this planet.

Everybody lies about something sometime. If they say they don't they are lying.

lying is like cancer 30 years ago, it can only gets worse.
when you get used to lying you just cannot help your self... you start lying without a need to justify it or without even thinking too much about it.

See??? Lying can also be pretty damned entertaining too!

Like back when I was a test pilot for NASA and doinking Rosie O'Donnell, you know, right before she became hetero.....

oh wait.....I was never a test pilot..........

True that, I went to Krupa's house of "pain and pleasure" as the ladies lovingly call it...And after ravaging Rosies mound, I heard what can only be discribed as a grunt of epic stature and Rosie came crawling out of the front door and into her waiting limo, and sped off....Krupa standing in the doorway beating his chest and his unit draging the ground... His pad was dripping stuff for hours man, but the dogs did a great job of cleaning it up....
