40 sucked for me..but now I'm just fine with 50 in a few months, it gets better, 40's are AWESOME!!!!!

For some reason, 40 didn't affect me as much as 45 did. Now, I'm ever-so-close to the big 50...Now THAT is starting to bother me!

It's just a number, and I don't feel like I'll be 40 on friday, but yesterday it seems like whatever i did or heard had something to do with me getting older. I got the blues very quickly. I'm better now, but i'm afraid for friday.
I have no idea what is in store for me as far as who is planning what, but i think i'm going to run away for the weekend. |

Its true...you are entering the "prime of your life!" You are only as "old" as you feel. Remember how wise you were when you were in your 30's compared to your 20's! Well just think how much wiser and content you are going to be in your 40's!!! Don't ever stop dreaming! :)

Age is only a number. I've made it to 44 and I still don't "feel" my age. I hope I never reach the stage of stressing over age.
It's cliche but you are as young as you feel!

40's are great! You can still do all the dumb **** you did when you were younger but now you are experienced enough to not get caught.

You are only as old as you feel, if you don't feel 40...*poof* your NOT!!!! And if someone has taken the time to throw ya a party...have fun! Laugh and know this...you are not over the hill, or under it....YOU OWN IT!!!!!
I am looking at turning 45 this year and on my 40th B-Day, my lovely daughter threw me an "Over the Hill" Party, bless her little heart, I enjoyed myself and later went dancing and forgot I had turned 40! You look Marvelous for your age! Keep smiling and laughing!
