OK, have you ever met anyone that actually was not what you thought they were as in you thought something bad about them when you meant them and it turned out to be totally wrong?

If a person has loads of letters behind their name... you'd figure they knew what they were doing/talking about?... My experience is "they have no friggin clue" they were only good in school... TRUST NO ONE

As a teenager that seemed to happen often. Mostly from listening to friends talk about sombody and assuming they must be right about them. Found out as often as they were right they were wrong. Life lesson learned there.

No. Everyone is a blank slate, and all have equal oppertunities to prove that they worse than I imagined. And they usally do. It is not untill after they open their mouth and insert foot is when it is disapointing.

Yes have had that happen a couple of times. Have learned to keep an open mind and realize sometimes people are totally different (and better) in person than on-line. Personality just doesn't always come through on here for some?

If I listened to people this would happen alot more. I did have one occassion when I had something in my head based on a proffession. I was way off base...............
