Define 'older' please?

I think an older man, 45 & up, are more mature, more considerate of their lover's needs, more patient, more skilled. I know not every older man but I do find that men younger than their 40's are more materialistic, perhaps a little more selfish...I also believe the same with women....as I hit my 40's I found that I am a more attentive lover, more compassionate, more passionate...

I can basically agree with this - I have only met/dated one much younger (than me) man who wasn't totally narcissistic in bed and elsewhere

not that the others weren't nice - they were - but were either selfish in bed or not that knowledgable - which is no sin either...if they're willing to learn

Age only affords one the opportunity to learn how to please a partner. An individual still has to make use of that opportunity. Sorry to hear you were unfortunate at find two older men who never took advantage of that time.

All that said, a good lover can be found pretty young IMO. It's mostly a matter of younger individuals often, but not always, haven't taken the time to pay attention to their partner and learned what it really takes to meet the needs of someone else.

Oh well, its water under the bridge. Some can learn and some can't I guess. I agree though paying attention is the important thing. I found it was hard just to get a guy to actually listen to me when I tell him something. I told a guy three times that I was being tested for cancer and he swore up and down I never told me. So, I resent the two emails to him and gave him date and time when I told him on the phone. LOL

So true. I screwed up my hearing as a kid playing in bands, but I think it may have actually taught me to listen.

Well, I think its called selective listening.

Never understood why anyone would selectively/intentionally NOT hear something, the person they are suppose to love, is saying. I can imagine tuning everyone else so so you can hear them.

I always have to when I hear someone say (usually guys) "I never saw it coming, I had no idea he/she wanted to break up"... well guy, I think we know why

I'm an older guy and I don't think older guys are necessarily better, just a better bet... perhaps that is an answer... Older guys are better because the odds are better that he's grown up enough to think of someone other than himself. In the bedroom or outside the bedroom.

I think (hope) your right but there's also:
. He remembers The Partridge Family
. Hopefully (my prayer) is really good with a grill
. Sees the value of quality time in the bedroom
. Doesn't freak out the first time he sees you in you're favorite glow in the dark t-shirt and baggy sweat pants

i may only be 30, but i can tell you, all men are different and do not know what way satisfies each individual women. i think its more upto the individual to decide what is more right for them.

No, some of us look carefully.

Older men are BETTER,,because..

They sleep very sound and you can go party all night.
They don't live as long as you and Insurance is GREAT!
They will just say OK,, when you tell them your leaving.
They can let you wrap them around your finger, THEN they can show you how they use theirs......

I think he said it all.

Older men are also better when young in heart and body. I enjoy amusement parks and concerts and whatever else is happening.

And we truly listen to our partners.
