Now, tonight ... Gonzo (Yet another on Hunter Thompson's Life ...)

Gonzo is a pretty good look into Hunter's work. Of course, I took one of his greatest journal escapades as my name...so I'm bias, but I don't care.smokin

I've long followed the man and his work, love him!

This film is thoroughly fascinating and quite revealing ...

Not only learning more about the man, but the times in our country!

All the inside political interviews and info, etc, illuminating ...

Partic the info and interviews on and w/ McGovern, Carter, Hell's Angels, etc ...

Too, his funeral plan was amazing ... Would have loved to witness that!

Also, woah, quite the Mr McNarsty times infinity in his HUGE mood swings; thinkin' I would never have put up w/ him in a personal relationship ...

REALLY thought provoking as to the insight on how MUCH we currently NEED his journalistic truth seeking missiles in the current geo politics and international jihad war ...

So much info, I've yet to make it through all the extras material's info ...

Gotta go finish, can't even get to the other 2 films yet ...

Again ... Fascinating! Would like to own it ... drinker

And I'm mad for Fellini and Bunuel!

A MUST SEE ... "City of Women" ... My God!!

Ever seen the German "Wings of Desire" ... Fantastic!

I'm a huge fan of Bunuel's The Exterminating Angel- incredible movie.

Have you seen Jean-Luc Godard's Weekend?

Little Fugitive '53 - A little boy thinks he killed his older brother so he runs away to Coney Island. Has a very realistic feel to it, didn't feel like a 1950's movie.

i didnt dislike it but its not great, its very short and there are alot of unbelievable things in it. people walking on ceilings is fine, but women giveing birth in 5 minutes and then being able to run all over the place just annoys me... she should have died, that way there would be no need for the unbeliveable shite.

and ever since i saw avatar in 3d at the cinema, all films seem a bit rubbish. its worth watching, just dont bother going to see it or paying for it

That's good to know, thanks.

Yes I'm all for fiction and fantasy too but sometimes they go way too far to the point of being lame.

... Anything worthy of comment?

Any dawgs we'd be better off missing?

I've just seen ... "The Box" ....

Hmmmm, thought provoking, sure ...

I did expect more from the cat that made Donnie Darko though, might have made my expectations too great ...

Meh, suppose such genius is near impossible to recapture in some sorta parallel replication?

... Def makes ya consider nose bleeds in a whole new way.

And, I loved the scene where he makes the choice, then goes through the 2nd gate ...

... Jean-Paul Sartre: The question becomes whether to enter the final chamber free or not??? ... (paraphrased)

Hmmmm ... I grew up at NASA, in the heart of Secret Serviced 'Intelligence' ...

shades ... Kind of an oxymoronish heading, that.

Have you seen this one, what were/are your thoughts?

Actually, yes. I wen't with an ex g/f to see Alice in Wonderland opening night. I was surprised that there was barely anyone there.

It was AMAZING! Our newest theater has the DLP Projection screens an with the 3D it was awesome. Usually I don't like to watch 3D movies since the glasses give me migraines. The 3D wasn't really work it just one or to things really popped out at you which was kinda cool.

Aside from that the movie was much better then I expected. I thought Johnny Depp would have a minor part like the original film but no, he is in almost all of it. It's also not like the original and is made as a sequil to it as she is returning to Wonderland.

I would totally reccommend it to anyone! The movie is great and Depp gave one of the best preformances I have ever seen him do (Other then POTC)
